You got a turtle for two reasons, 1 is that turtles are cool and the other is that I hadn't thought of Bastard Slayer yet.
There are several ways in which this does, the most obvious being
Anyway personally I've always liked these sorts of deaths myself, where everything seems to be going awesome and then suddenly shit happens. I dunno guess I just like tragedy sometimes. Come down to a difference in tastes I guess. IMO I thought Toris was one of the better deaths in the rpg. In any case if you werent satisfied with her death or anyone elses for that matter, I will say without spoiling things that there may be another chance for a better death in the coming hunt ( and no I probably don't mean what you think when I say that)

Y'know guys, I see what he means. Think about it: when you guys get mad about what you see as an unjust death, your characters reflect that anger leading to a larger effort on their part to get revenge and end the project with a bang. People see something they don't want to happen and they start getting emotional. Now that's drama. That's what this site is all about. Or at least, that's what I've been led to believe.

It's surprising how much sense that actually makes, virt.

Lol, there's a difference between what Virt is saying compared to what happened. Regardless of whether or not it was unjust, expect me to roleplay it out to the best of my ability. I just think that the way she was killed did shame to her character, meaning that rather then just piss GMR off it made me feel as if Tori was nothing more than a useless character within southern when I was mistaken to believe otherwise. That's all, I could careless that she died, people die all the time. I just expected a more prolonged or epic death rather then a damn drive-by.
Shouldn't she have time to reflect back on her life? Guess not.

Well like I was saying before, her death did seem more meaningful to me then some of the others. But that just comes down to personal tastes, thats one of the reasons I like animes like Now & then Here & there and Saikano. Though that wouldve been a good idea to have her reflect before her death. I';ll be sure to keep that in mind for future deaths.

K, I posted, but I have a few things I want to get out of the way. Most of those "things" being questions and reasons behind my recent post. First off, whens log going to start, because we left the Gantz Room ages ago? I have plans for my own "GMR" log that I doubt can be rp'd w/ you guys, but I'm willing to wait and see if I'm able to tie it into what you have in store.
As for my post, in recent memory, I'm confident that "GMR" had 2 x-guns, 2 katanas and a controller. Though, I'm pretty sure in DM's mission at least 1 or both katanas were broken. So, I'm fine with him not having those at the time as well as his X-guns since they weren't mentioned unless their in his holsters. (I forgot to describe them myself) However, I'd like to have him to still have his controller if it's okay with you.
I'm also assuming that Kazou's Sword (Now known as Tori's Sword) is in her holster? If not, is it lying on the ground somewhere, because isn't it as big as Sephiroth's sword or am I wrong to assume that? Kazou was a Sephiroth look alike to some extent...lolz...

Naw despite being a sephiroth wannabe, his sword was regular sized because having oine that big is just not practical for someone his size. And yes it was in toris holster. Log will start after the next update, this will not be a typical log, because this is going to be the dule room fight where we team up with north against the giant chuthulu alien.

Did you say chalupa alien?

Post by Defectron on Aug 11, 2008 23:27:20 GMT -5
as awesome as that would be its chuthulu....
It's kinda tempting to stick a chulupa in the last mission just because you said that, buit there's already a ton of stuff that'll be going down so maybe not.

I think there should be a new rule from now on. Mod's should no longer be able to use stolen plot, npcs, aliens or weapons. I've had just about enough of this shit. I know its not a crime and etc etc, but instead of seeing you use someone else's work...I'd rather just watch or read the same shit as you. So, don't expect me to hold my tongue when I see that shit. I'm all for originality and 100% against stolen shit...

Well if it really is "tommarow" as of his last post, it could be anywhere from 23 hours 53 minutes after said post to 47 hours 52 minutes after. Then again, there's always Defectron's abuse of time control. So tomorrow could very well be two days ago, by which I mean next Wednesday, i.e. half past never.
