One Strength: His knowledge of martial arts is amazing. Masaaki almost knows at least one move or a variant from every single style. He majors in Muay Thai Boxing, Hapkido, and Tae Kwan Do.

Personality: A very nice guy overall, but somewhat anti-social. The only thing that usually sticks to his mind is his career of professional fighting. K1, being mainly 1v1, has strengthened his independency. Due to this he tends to stray from a group. Masaaki adores all types of competition and will almost go straight into battle if he foretells that a fight is inevitable.
Background: Masaaki grew up in Osaka as a regular street thug. He always got in fights, only because he was defending himself. After moving to High School his family moved to Tokyo where he currently lives. Life was far easier that what it had been in Osaka and now his fighting had paid off. After beginning to take basic Karate lessons, the Sensai saw more potential than normal and kept him for something far greater than Karate.
Over the next few years, Masaaki began getting involved in small time tournaments and contests, which slowly built his reputation until being recognized enough to take on the big leagues such as K1. His martial arts knowledge was stupendous now, which made him a lethal opponent in the arena.
Cause of Death: When in a professional fight against Bob Sapp he was hit with an accidental elbow to part of his spine. The spinal cord broke and left him paralyzed on the mat. Bob failed to realize this and made one final blow that weakened his body. Being that weak, it failed to help any sign of recovery. Masaaki died before making it to the hospital bed.
