Due to the inactivity of several mods, it's looking like some Projects might have to be scrapped or archived until further notice. The Projects in question in my opinion (and my reasons for thinking so) are the following:
Western Project: Last update was Jul 9th, 1 month 10 days ago. The mod for that project has not been seen on the site since that time. Western has always had a bad track record with updates, but I personally think it's time to either scrap it and start over with a new mod. If someone wants to take it over, I might consider that, as well, but it's gone through at least two different mods trying to take the story in different directions, and in my experience, a project is best when started and finished by the same mod. Furthermore, Western is in the middle of a mission, and I don't think anyone really feels like trying to get the alien info from Dur or Demo, since they're both relatively hard to get a hold of these days. I believe the best course of action is to archive this project.
Forever Mission: Last update was Jun 2nd, 2 months, 17 days ago. For being the project that's supposed to run all the time accepting new members, I'd say that amount of down time is utterly disgraceful. Maegil came back 3 weeks ago with reasons (or excuses depending on how you look at it) as to why he couldn't update, said he was back, yet updates would be further apart, and hasn't been seen on the site (at least by me) since. One update since he'd come back would still not be enough in my opinion, but since this is his own personal vision, I'd rather archive it than give it to someone else.
Rylock's Project: Last update was... well, never, depending on how you look at it. Rylock's last post was on Jul 6, and no one has heard anything from him since. I reccomend archiving.
It doesn't do well in my opinion to clutter the main page with all sorts of unused, stagnant projects. When I was elected to become an admin, one of the things I promised to try to do was try to streamline the site and make it run more smoothly. Well, that's what I'm attempting to do here. I've gotten word from a few people seemingly interested in modding new projects (people I trust to be able to keep up with updates and hopefully not just leave with no warning), so putting these stagnating projects to rest seems like the logical thing to do at this point. I'm not talking about deletion or anything; I just want to get them off of the front page to put the focus back where it belongs: on active projects.
