Welp, it's not epic literature or poetry, but is an interesting take on what I think about you guys...It's like 200 something words, so it won't take long to read. I basically turned this in to be read, so opinions are welcome I guess.
An interesting experience began when I first came to a forum about two and almost three years ago. I had no clue who everyone was, but I was already a fan of Gantz, a Japanese animation based on a theory of what happens after death, and I was looking for episodes of the series off the internet. I eventually moved onto the Manga, a comic of a series based off a Japanese animation, from there I found myself having a source for Gantz and another for virtually the only Gantz Role-playing forum around.
This forum is what I’d call a life changing experience like no other, because despite being stretched across the globe, these members are actually what I consider family in some sense. Normally, I wouldn’t consider that normal, but two to three years is a lot of time for a person to invest in a forum, but I have no regrets, because I’ve actually grown and improved as a person from it.
At first, I was loud and obnoxious, but now I’ve noticed that by being here, role-playing and reading the stories of every member’s character, I can excel in my creativity and perhaps encourage others on the forum to do the same, whilst enjoying ourselves. For this reason alone is way I am currently an admin on this particular forum and it gives me a sense of pride. And that just goes to show it’s remarkable how something as small as an online role-play can touch and inspire so many people like it did me, and for that I’m thankful enough to share it.
