Was he killed on Budha mission? is it only that I havent seen him (im at 150)? huh? HUH!?

In the anime they make it obvious he was killed on the buddha mission, and I think in the manual they mention something about the dog dying that mission.

Yeah, the dog mysteriously disappears in the Manga. In the Anime, they just have one of the Buddha missions step on him.
In mission 7, one person actually disappears like butter dog.
