OK Benry, we all get it; you like 4chan. You've gone far enough with the memes and fads. If you really MUST say them, take it to cbox, please.
Back on topic, though; I've been waiting to read watchmen until I have more time. Been playing a lot of "The WItcher" lately.

I got from a reliable source that this is worth your time. The movie, he said, is one of the best Comic Adaptions to Film he's ever seen. If you loved the book, you'll love the movie.
I've read the book, and it was epic. Rorschach is the man.

seriously?! oh thank god. you've just qweled many a fear Xenod. Rorschach is fucking amazing. he's my favorite character. I sided with him and the decisions he made through out the entire movie. the book was AMAZING, and thank god cause I would hate to see Watchmen go the way of Resident Evil. The Witcher? what game is that? and i suggest reading it before you see it. ^_^ so worth it.

I saw the film the first day it came out here.
Pacing was a little rushed at some points as they tried to fit in the enormity of it all. They also cut out the Legend of the Black Freighter and the side stories of characters like the Two Bernies, the Cabby, and Rorscharchs shrink. However they did do the new ending very well. Overall, considering what they had to accomplish with the film, they did it very well. I'd be interested in seeing a directors cut where they could fit more in.

I'm going to make people try to kill me now... I... hated... the watchmen comic... I haven't seen the movie, but I just really hated the comic. It was so slow, and it talked about so many things that I just didn't care about. I could barely get a quarter through before I put it back on my bookshelf to collect dust. (Dust collecting is a fine hobby, even more fun than stamp collecting ) Maybe it's just because I have a short attention span, and the fact that most of the people didn't have powers annoyed me. Along with the fact that Rorschach (or whatever his name is) made few appearances in the beginning. Also, the Comedian was dead on the first page and all I ever saw of him was flashbacks, which is a damn shame cause even though he seemed like an ass, he also seemed really cool.

Overall, the movie was good. The comic just had more to it because it could fit more. still a good movie.

This was good but i still need to see the whole extended cut. I really liked the deleted scene of hollis mason's death. Oh and most ly all the actors here were good. I loved the book and read it like 9 times. I think i would wanna be Nite owl...
