ive read all of these that is out so far -Gantz -Berserk -Bleach -Deathnote -wolfs rain -gunslinger girl -Monster -MPD psycho -Kingdom Hearts
The two at the top are by far my favoite, very brutal and characters you just love... so any mangas that are around those lines (and translated somewhare online) would be awesome... any ideas?

Well quite a few that you might like, most are seinen and have rather dark themes but I might have more light series in mind if you have any specifics that you particularly like in manga. -Psyren(bi-weekly) -C.A.T(unsure, I think monthly) -Claymore(monthly) -Highschool of the Dead(again, monthly) -Ubel Blatt(more monthly, its just fun!) -Ares(monthly ) All of these you possibly would find quite interesting though I've had patience to deal with. Most of those stated I've been reading since they began so I'm pretty sure of when they update. To add to that, everything above posted can be found on OneManga.

I liked BR at first, but then as the series goes on the character's ankles get thinner and thinner to the point where it looks like they would just snap in half while running. Not really that big of a deal but it really bloody bothered me.

Yeah, I was gonna suggest Air Gear and Battle Royale too. Hellsing's dark and brutal, and you might like Get Backers, but I don't think there's anywhere on the internet with it translated so you'd have to buy it.

I like the first few volumes of GetBackers but then they got way to powerful for 18 year olds if you ask me. It seemed ridiculous at how insanely strong the two of them were and I just sort of went off of it.

Whereas a bunch of twelve year-olds-old I know can summon giant frogs...
Jokes asides, I get your point. I don't think the later volumes are as good as some of the earlier ones.

Kazuo Koike and Goseki Kojima's "Lone Wolf and Cub" and "Samurai Executioner", and Takehiko Inoue's "Vagabond" for the art. Another of my all-time favourites (though it is a shonen manga) is Nobuhiro Watsuki's "Rurouni Kenshin" - but if you're into anime and want something a bit more mature, check out its fairly dramatic and quite brutal "Tsuiokuhen" OVA.
Thus spake the sword-toting nut-job!

I've also been reading "The Walking Dead", but techinically, that's a comic... not a manga. Same with "Y: The last man"; good read, but technically, a comic.
