The God Emperor of Tamatebako high school

OOC: Kazuo Aynokouji is loosely based off the antagonist by the same name from my story "Room of the Demiurge" one of these days I'll get around to putting it on the interweb.

Shortly after mission 9

"Maya and Ravana are both dead! Game over man! It's game over! Indras still in a coma, you and me, were the only ones left!" Hamumon said pacing back and forth in front of Pavarti. Hanumon who was usually pretty overconfident for the first time in a very long time looked scared.

"No! Those humans just got lucky, we can still kill them if were careful!" Pavarti knew that "careful" wasn't something Hanumon was used to being but she couldnt think of anything else to say.

"No, both of you are to remain here from now on. Your not to approach any groups of gantzers again until I say so." Shivas voice came from the shadows.

"But Ravana and even Maya! Their dead!" Pavarti said looking into the darkness.

"Indeed, but the fact is we failed to retrieve the artifact. Now that its in the hands of the enemy we must be very careful. The black ball knows we need it, he'll use that against us. I wouldnt put it past him to simply dangle it in front of our faces waiting for us to bite, but if we make a move now, we may very well be taking in a trojan horse. We have our hands tied, as things stand we can't move against gantz."

"But...we can't just give up..." Pavarti said in dispair.

"Don't worry, our time will still come, afterall, I'm no longer bound by the same rules I was for the last 500 years, Ganesh, Ravana and even Maya may be gone. But I now have the abilitiy to replace them."

meanwhile

Everyone had left the scene of battle, standing alone in the night was Shadow who was about 3 feet tall at the moment, her nanites swarmed over the phone that she'd stolen off that guy assimalating it.

"Damn it!" Shadow kicked a tree, as small as she was her foot still made a hole. She was all alone again now, Tjad had been her most hated enemy but had also been the closest thing she had to a freind. No longer would she be able to glue his hand to his crotch when he was asleep or place half eaten bananas on places in the floor where he would probably step. He was gone, and there was no getting out of that.

This shouldnt have happened, she shouldnt have allowed herself to become freinds with one of her enemies much less the one responsible for Dokukos death. All it did was cause her trouble in the end. It would be a lonely existence, but if she lived on her own she would have no disadvanatges , she would be free to pursue her goal of becoming the most powerful being on the planet with no hinderences.

More then half of her body mass was still strewn across the field, but all of her surviving brains had already been collected and Shadow wasnt in the mood to stay here long enough to collect the rest of herself. The parts that didn't have brains in it would just self destruct so there was no need to worry about it. Shadow fired up her thrusters leaping into the trees leaving the area.

However, after she left something unexpected occurred

The pieces of Shadows flesh left behind did not disintigrate as she had expected, slowly they began to congeal and come together into a single mass of writhing greenish flesh. It sensed various dead bodies in the area, they would prove to be valuable nourishment for its growth.

Several days later

"Puru puru pururin puririn pururpurupururin atashi pururin" played through a dimly lit room filled wall to wall with posters and figures of moe anime characters. A computer screen flickered through the shadows as the song echoed through the room.

Kazuo Aynokouji was a pale slightly overweight boy. He frowned as he looked at his finger, several months ago something unbelieveble happened to him. A tiny albino girl that he'd found in his ramen had ripped his finger off. He'd gone to the hospital and was able to barely save it, but even now it hurt to move. It was an unbelieveble incident that had haunted him ever since that day. Kazuo was a hikkikomori otaku, his parants didn't really care, they were so rich that he could sluff off school staying in his room all week and still be well to do when he grew up, they were too busy with their own lives to bother with him anyway. This room that he almost never left was his room, he was the god of this place, and the shining happy faces of his bishojo figurines were his subjects. If he didn't like any of them they would die, if he wanted more girls he would simply create them. This was his world, yet for the past year or so he'd been growing increasingly dissatisfied. It used to be that he would only leave his room about once or twice a week to attend school, it was a pointless thing to do since he was a hikkikomori but there was a reason why.
Back in his first year he had met her, a girl who had helped save him from being bullied. The red haired girl he would never forget Toriyuki Sekihara. The only reason why he ever left his room was to watch her from the shadows.

He dabbed his paint brush into some red pain as he began to paint the hair of his newest custom made moe girl resin kit, it was a girl who looked like a more stylized version of Tori wearing a g-string bikini and cat ears. It was one of many moe Tori figures he'd created over the past few years since he first met her. They were the favorite subjects of his world. They would never leave him they would always be there greeting him with their smiling faces. They were the homunculi populating the room of the demiurge which he ruled over.

He could faintly hear the neighbors dog barking outside. He ignored it as it continued barking suddenly he heard it whine, it sounded like it was wounded, this was followed by silence. Kaxuo got up to see what was wrong. He looked out the window, fog had settled over the dark landscape of night. Next door he looked to see the dogs leash tied to a tree with no dog.

"What the..." there was a thump on his roof. He didn't know why but he thought of the tiny girl no bigger then one of his figures that had ripped his finger off several months ago. Maybe it was her, she'd come back for him. He didn't care though, he would be content to die by the hand of an otherworldly creature like that. It would be a fitting end for the demiurge and his world.

The footsteps stopped , whatever was on his roof was standings still. Suddenly a huge spike shot down through the roof, it was a dealy spaear that appeared to be made of some crystaline substance, was this diamond? Several more spears came down until he was trapped. He could hear something sizzling, a hole had just been eaten in the roof roughly ten feet wide. Siloeted against the moon a monstrous form stood looking down on him. It had jet black skin as well as long sadako length greenish colored hair. It had three arms. Its right arm looked like a regular human arm looked like a regular human arm, but it had a huge gnarled claw handed left arm as well as a smaller disfugured arm camong out from under that. It also had three legs, they appeared to be a cross between human legs and those of a predatory dinosaur, the third leg hinged backwards coming out above its ass and ending in several large claws. It's face was strangest of all, it appeared to be the face of a beautiful girl, except it had four red spider like eyes which were visibly glowing through its mass of dark green hair falling over its face. Whatever it was it appeared to be female, it had three perfectly formed boobs and what looked like female genitalia as well. Lastly several long tentacles potruded from its back, each ended in a gnarled fanged mouth.

It leapt down with a thud approaching Kazuo who was frozen not in fear but in awe of the creature that stood before him. "What are you?" this creature gave off a simialer feel to the miniature ramen girl that had ripped his finger off, but it was different it seemed more primal.

"Your not afraid....the other humans that I've been consuming in the past few days all reacted in terror. Why aren't you afraid?" her voice sounded the same as the one who had ripped off his finger.

"Have I met you before?"

"No."

"Your beautiful....can I touch you?" Kazuo asked reaching between the diamond spears. It didn't run as he reached out touching it, he ran his hands through the strange creatures hair down its shoulders and touched one of its three boobs. Kazuo could feel a hard lump forming in his pants, he'd been wrong all this time, this was real, this was what he had been looking for.

"Why...? I'm here to kill you, so why are you so happy?"

"Because I finnally found something real. I would be honered to die by your hand."

"I've never encountered one of your kind that has reacted this way. Every human I've encountered so far has reacted with terror, after assimalating the knowledge from their minds I understood that your kind would define me as an abomination. But you called me beautiful, why are you different? Will you share your knowledge with me if I let you out?"

Kazuo smiled "Of course!" it reached out touching the spears it had generated earlier, each diamond spear seemed to disintegrate evaporating into a cloud of carbon.

"This is my world, and your always welcome to be here!" he said as he embaraced the bizzare creature that stood before him. Kazuo didn't know it, but at that moment it had begun to imprint him as its new master.

"Hmm...nope." The perveted old man replied with a scary twinge of pink on his cheeks.

Tori sighed and put the picture of GmR away. Finding GmR seemed alot harder then she thought it would be. So far she discovered alot of things about him. Things about Gantz...she even discovered that he was a very good gambler. She now knew why his clothes were so up to date.

" The jerk...he never told me..." However it seemed obvious with the nickname everyone in the room seemed to refer to him as. There was so much she still needed to find out.

Where had his corpse gone?

He could have regenerated like Shadow...he could still be walking around and maybe probly searching for her aswell.

Looking down at her hands she saw the gloves to her suit. She had long taken off the neck peice and wore a pair of gray jogging sweats and white shirt underneath. She was currently listening to GmR's MP3 player she had stolen from his house while going there to search for him.

She had to climb in through his window and the suit made this alot easier. Inside of his room were a bunch of clothes thrown about and a bunch of goggles on a desk. There was also a few credit cars and some money stashed around. She didn't take any of it though. She just stood in his room and tried not to cry thinking of how much she missed him.

"Where did you go?"

She whispered this and free fell onto his bed. It smelt like him...She couldn't really tell however, if he had slept in this bed or not lately because of how the room looked.

She waited a few before she found it hopeless. On the way out she snagged a random picture she had taken of GmR and given it to him. Sure it had been silly but, she gave it to him anyways.

"Hehehehe..."The old man cooed as he admired her covered bosom.

This brought her back to where she had just been before.Her nose wrinkled indisgust as she turned on her heel and went to ask anyone else if they'd seen him.

Tomo winced as the sunlight came in her window. It was the weekend so she didn't have to go to school today. Even she had trouble believing what they all had gone through a few days ago. As expected about half of her freinds didn't come to school the next day. Sakaki was still absent, what had happened to her?
When theyed come back to the room one of them had never returned. Chihiro was still missing, Kagura had been the last one to see her but whenever anyone asked about Chihiro Kagura just said she didn't want to talk about it. What had happened to her? As a future interpole agent Tomo knew she needed to find out, but right now something else worried her. Ever since that day it hurt more and more do go out into the daylight, during the day she was no longer her energetic self often falling asleep in class almost as much as Osaka. Tomo never paid attention, but she'd always prided herself in the fact that she never fell asleep either. Maybe she really was changing into a Princess of Darkness. In the end would Yomi need to stake her for the good of humanity? If so Yomi could be in for trouble, she had faced down Dracula, Blackula and the son of kong that day, who knows what she could do as a vampire? Tomo frowned remembering her low score, even that little dog had gotten higher then her, but then again she was tied with Yomi so she could still brag about how they were even. Today Yomi and some of her other freinds were going over to Sakakis house to see what was wrong with her. She hadn't left home since the mission was over.

Elsewhere

Kazuo looked at his new face, ever since that day when he met the creature he named Aiko his life had changed. Aiko had the ability to mold organic beings to her whim, when he asked if she could give him a makover she gladly agreed. Kazuo now resembled a younger version of sephiroth from final fantasy 7. Not only that, but he felt stronger now too. His mother in a daze walked to his room bringing him some freshly baked cookies. Aiko had taken over his parents making them into his slaves, they were nothing more then robots now. They had never been there for him when they had free will, now they would have no choice but to be there for him.

"Aiko, I wish to make my presence known to the world. Or to be more accurate, I want to add more territory to my world." he said looking at his room.

"I see, what do you mean by this?"

"In my world, people who are mean or stupid won't be allowed to exist. Their existence will be reduced to robots or I'll let you eat them. Only kind people will live in my world. What I mean Aiko, is that this world needs us, it needs a demiurge to rule over it. My world will start to expand when I reinroll at my school. No one there recognizes this new face youve given me so it wouldnt make sense to go there as Kazuo, I'll need to come up with a new name. I'll also need you turn some of the teachers there into slaves for me, we'll need their cooporation to fake a transfer from another school. In several weeks, my school will be holding a halloween party, that will be when I announce myself as the demiurge that will rule over their world. But first I'll need a new name, any ideas Aiko?"

Meanwhile

Shadow stood in front of the wearhouse where Brandon and the aliens were hiding out. Brandon stood in front of her "And that's why, I think it would be best if we go our seperate ways. i've already relaid instructions for the aliens to accept you as their new leader."

"Are you sure about this?"

"Yes, recently I lost site of my goals, I can't allow that to happen again."

"I see...I'll be honest, I think your making the wrong choice..." Brandon said.

"Be that as it may, I'm going out on my own. But before i go, I have something to give you." Shadow held out her hand, several gun clips were in it."Each of these are loaded with special rounds I made, if you fire them into a creature like what Harry has turned into , the virus in the nanites cantained in these bullets will infect and eventually destroy the cellular structure of the target. If you try to assimalate these with your nanites you'll die, you can't replicate these clips. These are the only shots you'll have so be sure to use them wisely."

Onion junior came running out of the warehouse holding an onion looking at Shadow who was turning to leave.

"Take my green onion!" he said holding out the onion.

"Sorry, but I don't like onions. Give it to Brandon, he's your new leader now." Shadow said before dematerilizing. Onion junior looked around, with a sad look on his face before heading back inside.

At Toris school

"Tamatebako, that was the name of the jade box taken by Urashimataro after journeying to dragon palace. A fitting name for the school where i begin my reign." Kazuo smiled as he walked intot he school.

That day in Toris class the teacher had an announcment to make

"Good morning everyone, today I have a suprise for you all, a new student has just transferred in from our sister school on the east side of Kanto prefecture."

No one had heard of this immediatly everyone began to talk, the boys were obviously hoping it was a girl. Tori wasnt terribly interested in whoever this new student was though since she was thinking about finding Gmr. her search for him hadnt turned up anything. It was then a thin boy with shoulder length silver colored hair walked into class. Most of the girls seemed to get excited while there was mixed reactions form the male part of the class.

"It's nice to mee tyou all, my name is Lucifer Danclaude, my family originally came from France before they moved to Japan."

This guy immediatly caught Toris attention, even if he was french, who the hell would name their kid lucifer, and what was up with his hair? It must be died, but it looked too natural. After making his introduction the new student took a seat behind Tori. He looked around the classroom at the other girls who were talking about him shyly. These were the same girls that had mocked him when he was Kazuo. They would pay dearly for that. Most of the boys were even worse, they would be the first to go. But then he looked at Tori, she wouldnt be punished though, she was one of the few people here who had been kind to him. He would make her the queen of his new world.

Invisible to everyone in the room Aiko looked in the window noticing Kazuo looking at Tori. She frowned at this, why was he so interested in that human? She wanted Kazuo to look at her and only her like that, but he had the same eyes for that girl! Why was that?

Tori sighed boredly. Most guys with long hair and pretty boy faces were most likely gay. She didn't state this out loud but kept it to herself.

'Pfft...I hate english class.' She thought to herself. It had been an elective she had taken to be in one of GmR's classes but, without him there to catch falling asleep she had no reason to take it. Sure it was good to know multiple languages and she had been able to comunicate with Miles better but, she basically hated the damn language.

"Miss Seikihara please use the following phrase on the board in a sentence..." Tori nodded and looked up from her doodling to answer.

Tori's eyes scanned the board before she smiled and said,"Hi, I give good head!"

The teacher nodded approvingly before continuing with the lesson. While the lesson proceeded Seikihara resumed doodling. Blushing when she noticed it was a picture of GmR and many different scenarios. There was one with him in jail, another with him being kidnapped by aliens, and lastly another with him dressed in a bunta-kun costume.

The jail scenario seemed likely but then she feared for his safety if so. The scenario with him being kidnapped by aliens hadn't been too far in her opinion being what she had experienced not to long ago. She tried to forget about it but, she couldn't. Lastly the Bunta-kun made her grin. She remembered forcing him to be the school's mascot for Halloween. The event landed him a position as the school mascot for a week until word got out he was blind and the visionally impared didn't serve well in those situations.

Toriyuki sighed dreamily before thinking,'He sure did make a cute bunta-kun though...' She couldn't help but wonder if he still had that costume.

"Your sooo goood!" Tori sighed and put her head on her desk at the sound of the teacher's voice. Did people from america really talk like this?

She caught eye of a few papers being passed her way and turned to hand them to the new kid behind her. She knew he probly had no idea what the hell the teacher was even saying. She tried to glance at his face to see if they held a stare of bewilderment.

[Defectron]

Shadow landed on top of Tokyo tower, she walked to the edge of the tower and sat down. "Well I'm completely on my own again...now what to do next..." Shadow remembered the ultimate weapon. Its power was truly terrifying. And now it was in the hands of gantz, if the black ball somehow took control of it and used it against her in the future saying that would be bad would be an understatment. She needed to get stronger, strong enough to fight back against it, how what could she assimalate to do that? Her first thought was Harrys battle form, he was pretty powerful, but even if she added his power onto her own it might not be enough. In any case Harry seemed to have gone into hiding since the incident at the org man factory. He probably wouldnt come back out again until he had a new card to play. A direct assault against Millenion had worked in drawing him out once, but he'd be onto that strategy now, doing it a second time wouldnt be so easy. No this idea was no good , not until Harry made a move anyway, it'd probably be at least another month or so before that happened.

Shadow stood up before rocketing off Tokyo tower descending into the city below.

Tomos location

"Damn it! I've got to find a way out of this mad house!" Old Man pika poked his head out of Tomos bag. Tomo had insisted on sneaking him into her school every day since adopting the chimera. Yomi had advised her against this, but Tomo wouldnt part with him no matter what. The formerly energetic girl looked half asleep as she sluggishly made her way to gym class. Normally this was Tomos favorite period, but today she just wanted to go home, running out under that hot sun made her feel like she was going to die, what was happening to her?

"Unnghh...I feel like a truck hit me..." Tomo mumbled out rubbing her head.

"Hmmm...she looks half dead, getting away won't be too hard, but there's too many people around, I might be seen." It was then that Ms Yukari happened to come out of a nearby hallway. She did a double take as she noticed Tomo, Tomo had been subdued in class lately , Yukari hadnt paid any mind to her since she wasnt the sort to pay attention to students unless they acted up and a quiet Tomo was a blessing she wasnt about to question. But even she had to wonder what was going on when she saw Tomo.

"Takeno san, I'm going to be honest, you look like you just stepped out of a zombie movie. Are you on drugs? You know drugs are bad, they make you do things you regret, like getting naked in public....not that I've ever tried drugs, nope not me. But you arent doing them are you?" Ms Yukari said walking over to Tomo.

"Ms...Yukari..." thats right this was all her fault "You....you and that soap...because of you fat dracula tried to rape me, and that snail and the queen of hell....oooh I should kick your ass...unnghh..." Tomo collapsed on the ground.

In her half sleepy daze, Tomo noticed something odd, Ms Yukari smelled like she would probably good to eat.

"H..hey Tomo get ahold of yourself!" What the hell was wrong with her? Ms Yukari helped Tomo up carrying her to the nurses office. After Yukari left with Tomo her bag moved. Old Man Pika poked his head out , he was free, he wouldnt have to put up with that girl anymore, he was free! He bolted from the bag running down the hall hoping he could make it to an exit before anyone saw him.

At Toris class

Kazuo smiled as Tori looked back to take a glance at him. There had been a reason he'd chosen a french transfer student as his cover story, during his days as a Hikkikomori, he hadnt just wasted time in his room, he had also studied several foreign languages, one of which was french, he could speak it almost as well as Japanese.

He didn't look confused at all "Do you know Japanese?" Tori asked him.

"Of course, I can speak it as well as my native toung. You know who I am from my introduction, what exactly is your name? I would be interested to know, because I must say your very pretty!" he asked Tori smiling. The old kazuo never would have had the guts to say something like that, but for some reason ever since he met Aiko he felt like he could do anything. Nothing was impossible for him anymore!

At another part of the school

Behind the school several sannensei boys were smoking. These four were delinquints, among the worst of which who had bullied Kazuo when he went to school here.

"I'm so bored man...you guys wanna take off?" one of them said as he took a drag from his ciggarette.

One of his freinds was scrawling some grafiti on the wall "Yeah whatever, right after I finish with urrghhh..." The boy writing the grafiti was suddenly lifted into the air, his body dangled as it was in the grip of some invisible force. Aiko slowly materialized, the boy was held by his neck in the clutches of one of her tentacles. The tentacle holding him began to merge into his body, mini tendrils grew outward pulling him inside crushing even his bones in an intant. The other two screamed in terror at the sight running, but they didnt get far. Aiko leapt off the wall landing in front of them. Her body changed morphing into a duplicate of their devoured freind before Aikos arms extended like rubber grabbing both of them by the neck, with a sharp twist both their necks snapped. These three were delinquents, if they didn't show up at school for awhile, no one would notice.

"I can assume the form of anything I consume, but Kazuo isnt attracted to male bodies, I should eat some girls too." Aiko immediatly thought of that red haired girl in Kazuos class. But he told her not to harm her, she wanted to eat that girl, but she couldnt go against her masters wishes. That girl, she could detect traces of that girls dna in her own cells, yet she had never encountered her before. What did that mean? She didnt have enough of Toris dna to fully assume her form , but some of her dna was definatly present in her cells even if it was incomplete. Oddly much of the early dna in her system was also incomplete. Prior to consuming that huge chunk of flesh and that headless human body in the pit none of the dna in her system was complete. It was as if something had goverend the assimalation of all the early dna so that only useful traits were kept while everything else was discarded. However, whatever had caused that to be the case, it was gone now, Aiko could fully assimalate all traits of whatever she consumed and take on the form of anything that she had eaten int he past. She looked down at the bodies, it would be bad to leave evidence here, it was still to early for Kazuo to announce himself as the demiurge that would rule over these people. Aiko quickly consumed the two bodies before leaving the area. Kazuo had also pointed out a number of girls who had turned him down or made fun of him, she should assimalate them next, maybe she could pick up some traits he would find attractive.

'....Very Pretty?' She thought to herself, man this guy was blunt. A compliment was a compliment and she smiled at him sweetly before responding to his question.

"Toriyuki Sekihara, nice to meet you Danclaude." with that said she turned around. She was getting jealous glares from all of her classmates.

She heard one of the guys mention, "Sekihara is hot...I never noticed..."

" Ya we got to make sure 'Satan Boy' doesn't get her before we do."

Tori just shook her head in annoyance, It wouldn't be long until the bell rang and she'd be off to gym.

The class ended without incident. The other boys glared at Kazuo as he left the room with a smile. So far everything had gone as planned. He told Aiko not to eat anyone who would be noticed until the time came. If it was noticed he'd just cover it up by having her take over some of the teachers and have them make up some bullshit about how the eaten student was transfered.

At the end of the day in the girls locker room

Naomi Asakura a girl with long dark hair who was taller then average was getting changed. She was one of the worst female bullys at Toris school, she had caused kazuo quite a bit of problems in the past. She had also been the one who had pulled the socks out of Toris bra during that embarrassing incident with Gmr.

She heard something that sounded something soggy dripping to the floor. She'd just watched one of the alien movies a few days ago with her boyfreind, it kind of reminded her of that. Next she heard what sounded like sizzling noise, yeah it was kind of like that, wait a minute...

Naomi turned to see another drop of liquid fall to the floor hitting a hole that had already began to melt intot he pavement. "What the hell...?" the liquid was coming from a vent in the ceiling which also looked partially melted. In all those horror movies the monster was always hidden in the vent and whatever idiot they were watching would poke their head up there thinking it was a good idea to look inside. She may be a bully, but she did have some common sense, whatever was in that vent may not be a monster, but whatever it was wasnt worth going through the trouble of looking up there either. Naomi finished getting dressed and walked towards the door ignoring the vent. As she opened the door she fell to the floor in horror of what stood on the other side, Aikos terrible form complete witht he long dark green sadako style hair stood on the other side of the door.

"N...no...the vent...how..." Aiko smiled and tugged one of her tentacles, she'd run it up through the vent into the locker room. Before Naomi could even scream Aiko leapt on top of her devouring her form in a matter of seconds. That girl had been a fairly attractive human female, that would be the form she would use to interact with Kazuo during school. Deciding to test it out, Aikos monstrous form shrank into Naomis human form, when devouring Naomi she had been careful to keep her clothes intact. That girl had wet herself before she died, how inconvenient!

Over the following days other students, all of which were the sort that no one would notice if they vanished slowly began to dissapear from the school. The bully girl Naomi Asakura also stopped associating with her bully freinds and began to hang out with the new transfer student Lucifer Danclaude. Some of the dissapearances were explained by the teachers as having transfered out of the school while others were assumed to be runaways. No one knew that a monster was secretly stalking the hallways of the high school. Soon the schools halloweeen party would occur, it wouldnt be until then that the truth would be fully revealed to everyone.

Somewhere else

Old Man pika had gone through alot of trouble in the past week, but all his hard work was paying off now. He stood in front of his old house, it was a large mansion. It was true that he was a very succesful busniessman and it showed, he hadnt been the best family man, people would usually define him as a pathetic coward and a pervert, but things would be different now, he'd be there for his wife and kids! He began to run towards his house, but then a car pulled up in front of it, some guy in a slick looking suit stepped out of the car. The door opened, his wife came out , the two of them met and gave each other a hug and kiss before going inside.

"No! I was only gone for a few months! This isn't hapopening!"

"Well, if it isn't the rodent!" he heard a familiar voice, that alien that had helped them during the mission materialized next to him.

"Wauuuughhh! Don't hurt me! I have a wife and kids....who forgot about me..." he slumped to his knees in defeat.

"You can't go back you know, even if that new guy hadnt come along, your a rodent, I think that'd kind of ruin your family life."

"What do you know! Your not a rodent!"

"No, but I used to be human too, I know that I can't go back either."

"Well at least you look human most of the time!"

"Uhhhh...I kind of have a different problem...but lets not talk about that. Why are you here? It's only been a few weeks since the mission ended, for someone with such little legs to make it this far, how did you do it?"

"I teleported back tot he room when I was touching one of the gantzers."

"YOU WHAT!?! Hmmm....so that means even something like us can be recruted by that damn ball. You realize now were enemies, I'm an alien and your a hunter again."

"Waaahhh! I don't want to be your enemy! I'm small and pathetic please uhhh...what's your name?"

"Call me Shadow Dokuko."

"Shadow Dokuko sama! Please spare the life of a pathetic rodent!"

"I make it point not to kill things that are pathetic, so you have no need to worry, I'm just letting you know there's a chance we'll be going against each other in the future."

"I would never go against Dokuko sama! I'm much too small and pathetic! Did you come here just because you saw me?"

"No, there's a school nearby here, I'm getting some weird vibes from it, it's almost like another me is over there, but none of my bodies are in that location."

"Huff, Huff, Huff!" Tori gasped as she cleared yet another lap. She had good stamina but, track and were not in her future. It was also getting chilly outside.

She had been quick and nimble and earned herself 3rd place in the daily 5 lap course around the feild.

As she ran she began to regret having to wear gym uniforms. Besides the being revealing she would have rather wore her suit on to get an unfair advantage.

"Time!" Tori heard as she finished her fifth lap. The coach grinned approvingly before giving her her time,"9.49...Sekihara are you sure about passing up that offer to join the team? Your making what we have now look bad..." Tori laughed uncertainly as the other girls who were on the team eyed her with hate.

"Oh, no..I'm sure-really!"

She sighed uneasily heading back to the gym. She figured if she hurried she would be able to take a shower and hurry off to lunch. On the way into the showers she saw Naomi heading out. She looked a little weird today but, she ignored it. She never even liked the girl much for obvious reasons. She was a bitch and a well reknown slut on various occassions.

Setting her clothes down neatly she thought about what she would be this halloween. She sighed in thought before her keychain fell. There had been a small hello-kitty attached to it that made her relish the thought of being that for the party.

"Bunta-kun and Hello-Kitty-" As she finished she sighed in sadness.

It had hit her again, Miles wasn't there to be her Bunta-kun this year...

She shook the thought and hurried and took her shower.

On Toris way home

Tori had been walking home from school when she noticed someone. It was a boy, this boy was one of the most notorious delinquints at her school and hadnt been around for several weeks. He was yelling at someone on his phone in a panicky sounding voice. He was actually the fourth boy of the first group Aiko attacked, when she killed the first of the four of them he had bolted before he could see what had done it. Tori hadnt seen him for awhile, he didn't look well at all, he hadnt shaven and looked like he hadnt slept in awhile either since dark rings were unde rhis eyes. Who was he yelling at on the phone?

Somewhere else

"Something that gives off the same feel as me, but at the same time it isn't me...it couldnt be..." Shadow had been sure that the original Dokuko was gone and wasnt coming back, but maybe, just maybe it was her! If there was even the slightest chance, it needed to be investigated.

At the school

The school day had just ended and everyone was getting ready to leave. Kazuo and Aiko were both alone in one of the hallways. Naomi had caused him alot of trouble when he used to go here, so getting used to this disguise of Aikos took a bit, but once he got over that he had to admit it looked good on her.

"You didn't eat anyone today did you? I'd like to minimalize what you eat untilt he party, if people start noticing beyond our ability to cover it up, it could be a problem."

"No, the freinds of this girl Naomi, they gave me a bit of a hard time today though. I think I should kill them soon."

"Just a little bit longer, pretend to be their freind, it won't be a problem for us anymore in a few days."

"What's the point in waiting? I should just kill them all right now."

"It's about image, first impressions are everything, if we do this on halloween, it'll maximize the effect of that impression."

"Eeearrgghhhhh!" Aiko gripped her head in agony falling to the floor.

"Aiko! What is it? What's happening?" Kazuo ran to her.

"Unnnghh....I don't know, somethings coming....Arghhh..." Her body was losing its ability to keep that form, several huge spider legs ripped out of her back, a second head with the red spider like eyes of her battle form erupted out of the side of her human head. "Arghh...urrrghh...." She vomited onto the ground, the acid melted straight through the floor. "I can feel it, my bodies reacting to it, someone else, like me...their coming...we should leave!"

"Like you? Why don't we try to meet her?"

"No! We should go!" She reached out grabbing Kazuo.

"What are you doing....auuuughhhh!" the space around the two of them began to warp as a dimensional rift formed, this was the ability of one of the many creatures that up the snails body. Kazuo was dragged into the rift screaming. A moment later both of them were gone.

Outside

"Hmmm...it's gone?" Shadow said in slight confusion, as she had approached the building the signal had gotten stronger, but had suddenly inexplicably vanished. How was the possible? She didn't particularly like the idea of dicking around some high school waiting to see if it showed up again when she should be looking for stronger opponents to consume like Harry, but if it was possible that Dokuko was around here, that was something that couldnt be overlooked.

By Kazuos house

"Why the hell did you do that?" Kazuo asked, he felt like he was going to throw up after they teleported.

"I don't know...my body just reacted on its own, just being in its presence was enough to make me lose control.I can't say for sure, but I think its the being that gave birth to me, what if it wants to eat me? I'm sorry, we were almost exposed because of me..." Aiko began to cry as he hugged her closely.

"It's ok...I know it couldnt be helped, but we'll have to come up with something in case it shows up during class time."

Luckily Toriyuki had her suit on. She never seemed to leave home without it in her bag or with her wearing it. She had no idea when or where she'd be brought back for another mission. It wasn't like Gantz worked by telephone or email.

Fixing her glove to her suit she stood idly behind a wall in a nearby alley. She wasn't keen on eavsdropping but, this seemed interesting. He sounded as if he were frightened so she decided it had been best to reveal herself. She tried best to approach him as loudly as possible hoping to get his attention so he wouldn't be frightened even further. He could've been suicidal for all she knew!

"Is everything...ok?" Her head seemed to slant as she gave him a look of concern. (; ; so cute!)

He looked nervously at Tori while hanging up his phone, Tori recognized him now, it was Shin, one of the more notorious bullys from her school, why was he so scared?

"What's wrong? You look like you saw a ghost."

"You wouldnt believe me if I told you! I was just talking to the cops and they won't listen to anything I say either."

"You might be suprised at what I'd believe, what happened?"

"It might better if were not in the open, follow me and I'll tell you." Normally Tori wouldnt follow a shady guy like Shin anywhere but she had her suit with her so if he tried anything she could handle it, also right now he seemed more scared then dangerous. They both went inside a cafe that wasn't to far away and sat down.

"I don't know if you've noticed that I wasnt at school recently , you probably havent, most people won't notice if a bad guy like me suddenly vanished, theyed just say I ran away like the cops said about my freinds."

Tori had heard something about some students running away, were they talking about his freinds?

"But that's not what happened! Something killed them, there's something at our school, its bumping off all the bad kids! That's why I havent been coming, I've even been too scared to go home since it might be looking for me there too! Damn it, if I knew this wouldve happened, I wouldve taken school more seriously, I'll quit doing drugs, I won't pick on the fat kids anymore no matter how much they piss me off. Hell , I'll even start doing my homework, I just don't want to die!"

"Easy there, you don't know if your freinds died, maybe they really did run away."

"NO!" he slmmed his hand down on the table, "I saw Yamamoto get killed before I ran away, it was almost like in that movie predator, something invisible just reached down grabbed him by the neck and pulled him into the air. I bet I know what it is, the government, they know that if our countries level of bad students continues to rise it'll cause problems, so they sent a monster out to kill all the bad kids in japan! and I'm next damn it! I've managed to survive so far by being careful, but its coming for me next!" What he was saying sounded completely crazy, but after what Tori had seen, she had to consider that there may have been something to his story.

Elsewhere

"Yeah, it's completely gone, but it was here a moment ago, maybe I should come back here again tommarow." Shadow said looking around the school.

"Why are you so interested in whatever it was that was over here?" Old Man Pika asked.

"I have my reasons. You don't need to know though, your the enemy remember?"

"Come on! What can I do? Look at me, I'm barely two feet tall!"

"Maybe, but what I tell you someone else will also know. I won't gain anything by staying here anymore, I'm leaving!" Shadow turned but felt Old Man Pika grab onto her ankle.

"Don't leave me alone! I don't have anywhere to go!"

"Not a chance, besides you were with that noisy girl before werent you? Why don't you stay with her?"

"No...I'm not that desperate. Will you at least go drinking with me?" Shadow glared down at the little rodent man causing him to back away.

"If your coming onto me, your going to regret it! I have the power to make that tiny fuzzy yellow penis of yours dissapear if I want, you should remember that."

"N-no! Not at all! I'm just so dippressed about my situation, I need a drink! Your probably depressed too, you said you used to be human and something else seems to be bothering you right now too."

"That is true...Well I don't have anything better to do."

After robbing a local liquer store

Old Man Pika could barely hold one bottle of Sake while Shadow had carried two large crates with her. The two of them stopped underneath a bridge before taking out the bottles and drinking them.

After only a few drinks, Old Man Pika was already drunk.

"Young poeple these days....they don't know about..hic....responsibility..." he swaggered out.

Shadow drank a bottle but only got a slight buzz, she seemed to have higher tolwerance then a human so she continued drinking the bottles until one of the crates was completely empty.

"Im plenty reshponshible....Mmmm squishy" while Shadow was saying this she was feeling up her boobs

"You are not....your to drunk to be reshponshible...!" old Man Pika stammered out.

"You used to be some hot shot businessman or somthing right? You ever get sued....hehehe...you look like youd get your dumb ass sued....hahaha..."

"That's not funny! Lawsuits are serious business! What about you? hat did you do as a human?"

"None of your buisiness....listen up digimon, your the enemy! And fraternizing witht he enemys very bad...."

"But that's what your doing right now. Come on tell me!"

"Come oooooonnn! Tell me! You have something to hide?" Shadow reached out touching his face, his mouth was suddenly welded shut. "MMMMPPPHHHHH!"

"Don't worry, I'll unseal it once your yellow ass isnt drunk anymore.....you know I've always wondered about toilet seats, they say a kitchen table is actually 400 times dirtier, does that mean peoples asses are really clean or something?" Shadow drunk another bottle of sake while old man Pika struggled to get his mouth open. Shadow then passed out falling asleep while the yellow rodent continued to struggle to open his mouth.

Tori grabbed his hand firmly," You have to settle down..." She wasn't only saying this for his own good but for her's as well, people were begining to stare.

She began speaking a little above than a whisper to lose the attention of everyone else."We have to approach this in a civilized rational way, otherwise if what you say is true we might end up just like your friends."

She let go of his hand and took a sip of her tea and thought a bit before speaking,"Where did this all take place at, it could have been a ghost, you and your friends don't go around disrespecting graves now do you?"

As Tori asked this deep inside her mind fear began to develop. Maybe this was the next alien? Or maybe the alien they captured got away.

Normally that alien would be out forrevenge against the other members of the room, not juvenile delinquents. However, she couldn't count that out either.

She needed to know about all who had disappeared and why. She just hoped that Miles wasn't behind this. She felt a chill imagining GmR roaming the streets devouring passerby.

"Well there was that one time we took a piss in a cemetery, but that was like a year ago, I'm telling you its the government, this is their way of cleaning up the public schools of Japan. It happened back at school, but I've been too scared to go back there."

"Could you show me exactly where it happened?"

"I don't know, it might still be there, I don't want to go back."

"If you don't find out what it was, you'll only be living with this fear over your head for the rest of your life. I won't let anything bad happen."

Shin looked like he was about to cry "Damn...your right...*sob* I'm so sorry that me and my freinds took those pictures of your panties three months ago! " he said hugging Tori while crying.

"Y-you did what?!?" No now wasnt the time to get upset about that. The two of them left and began to head back towards the school

Under the bridge

Old Man Pika had been struggling to get his mouth open for awhile now to no avail. Apparantly it wouldnt be opening again without Shadows help, but she was still asleep.

"MMMMPPHHH!" Damn it, this was all her fault, maybe he should take advantage of this? He hadnt gotten any since he was a human when he went out with those four girls and Shadow wasn't bad looking, she was naked too. No it was too risky, if she woke up he'd be at the mercy of the more powerful alien.

"If I want, I can make it dissapear!" her words rang in his head, it was too terrifying. On the other hand life without ever having sex again wasn't worth living, what sort of girl would ever go for someone who looked like him. Even that noisy girl wasnt interested in him like that, she just wanted him as her pet.

Uneasily he took several steps over heading for Shadows sleepuing form

"Unnghh...mashed potatos...." Shadow mumbled in her sleep turning over.

"MMMMPPPHHHHH!!!!" he'd wanted to scream in terror when that happened, lucky his mouth was sealed shut. No this was no good, he had to keep his cool. Once again he began to cautiously walk foreward towards her sleeping form.

"Mmmmppphhh...." he was close now, it'd be a little awkward since he was so small, but all he had to do was carefully stealthily...

Shadows dorsal fins suddenly began to glow white hot "no clowns...." she mumbled she was dreaming about something, everything around her was set ablaze by the intense heat including old man Pikas fur

"MMMMPPPHHHH!!!!!!" he ran around in circles trying to put the fire out.

Outside the bridge

Tori and Shin were walking back towards school to investigate where he'd been attacked. On their way over they both noticed a white flash and some smoke coming up from beneath a bridge, something was on fire down there. "Somethings going on under that bridge, maybe I should check it out!" Tori was about to go but Shin grabbed her hand.

"No way! This is my problem, I'm not having some girl get killed because of me! I'll go check it out!" he began to go ahead of her. This wasn't good, she had her suit, but this guy had no defenses if something bad was under the bridge.

An alarm went off in Tori's head. This guy didn't have a suit. "What do I do?" She panicked before she picked up a pebble and chucked it at his head. The velocity she threw it at wasn't meant to kill the guy but, to knock him unconscious.

She wasn't ready to have him knowing about her dealings with aliens and the black ball. "This is for your own good...trust me."

Tori threw the rock bonking Shin on the head. She put him down on a bench before running over to the bridge. When she got down to see what was going on Tori was suprised to see Shadow sprawled out on the ground in the middle of the blazing inferno and more then twenty empty sake bottles. Old man Pika was rolling on the ground trying to put himself out.

"MMMMPPHHHH!!!" He ran over to Tori when he saw her tugging on her leg. It was that chimera that got taken with them to the room. Tori picked him up and walked over to Shadow, she was right in the middle of the fire but it didnt seem to bother her enough to wake her up.

"Hey wake up!" She shook her

"Mmmmmm....oh....its you....whatre you doing here....mmmm....let me sleep a little longer....dont wanna go t school..." Tori lifted the half asleep Shadow onto her back. Lucky she wasnt fully transformed or itd be more difficult to carry her out of here.

"What the hell were doing down here?" she asked turning to look at Shadows sleepy face.

"Mmm....you know....you look pretty hot...." Shadow mumbled out nuzzling her face into the back of Toris head.

"EH!?! No nows not the time to be freaked out by this!" Tori carried both of them out from under the bridge before the fire department arrived. Investigating whatever was at the school would have to wait until after she handled this.

Tori jogged hurriedly to her house. Luckily for some reason most of the street thugs that use to litter the streets had been vacant. This helped her concealing the fact that she had a drunk naked girl and a whimpering poke'mon in her arms. Arriving at her house she was thankful no one was home...yet.

Now inside she tossed the pikachu to the couch and ran upstairs with shadow in her arms. "This should wake you up..." She snickered as she dumped shadow in a bath of cold water.

"Thats for pooping me out!" Tori huffed with a look of pure justice on her face.

"Waauuughh?! What the hell?" Shadow looked around in confusion before jumping out of the cold bath. " Don't like cold baths!Hey....what are you doing here?"

"I carried you home."

"That wasnt a dream?"

"MMMMPPHHHHH!" Old man pika waved his arms around in protest.

"Hey how come he doesnt have a mouth?"

"MMMPPHHHHH!!" he began jumping up and down angrily. Shadow touched his face, his mouth unsealed. "You set me on fire! I demand compensation!"

"I don't remember doing that."

"Damn it! I'm a powerful business man you know! How are you going to compensate me? I'll sue you if you don't find a way to do it!"

"Ummm....hows about I give you this bar of soap." Shadow handed him a bar of soap.

"Uh, thats my soap..." they both ignored Tori.

"Not good enough! But I can think of an inexpensive way for you to pay me back, hehehe!" he was still a little drunk himself otherwise he would know better then to do this. Shadow picked him up by the wail and dropped him in the toilet. "I'll sue!" Shadow closed the lid.

"Before I found you under that bridge I was on my way over to my high school, some strange things have been happening there." Tori explained what exactly happened at her high school.

"I see, then it probably wasn't Dokuko."

"Whose Dokuko?"

"The alien who gave me this form. The reason I was over there was because I sensed something simialer to me, I thought it could have been her, but Dokuko would never do things like that. She even hesitated to kill those who truly deserved it."

"What happened to her?"

"She was destroyed in a gantz missions, that guy who died last time, Tjad was mostly responsible for it."

"I don't believe it, you seemed pretty mad that he died....now that I think of it you were completely destroyed by that thing how did you come back again?"

"I won't die that easily. It's ironic, even though he was my worst enemy we were forced in a situation where we had to work together against a common enemy. I had almost forgotten what he had done to Dokuko and thought of him almost as a freind. I hadnt realized that until he died. I'd forgotten that we were enemies, in war thats not something that's allowed. You should remember that too, I'm an alien and your an alien hunter. I may have helped you before, but in a future mission we might be enemies, so you shouldnt get too close to me."

Back by the bridge

Shin woke up to see fire trucks putting out the blaze "Tori? Oh crap! Where'd she go? Maybe it got her?" he got up, she must have gone back over to the school alone!

Tori looked away with her arms crossed," Pff, if you think i'm gonna take that wad of bs in consideration? You helped out GmR when he needed it the most. I'm sure he's greatful to you and so am I? So I sorta am in your debt if you were to get technical...what I'm trying to say I could never be your enemy Shadow."

"As for the aliens...why do we even have to fight those-hold on a sec...Shin?" Tori called out looking downstairs.

Realization then struck her at what she had done. She had left the only witness she had. "Umm shadow...I think we lost our lead to the disturbance at school. Bumping heads with you two had me forget all about him."

She put her hands to her face,"I knocked him unconscious....and put him on a bench somewhere-what if the alien got him?"

" I have to go back and get him!"

[Defectron]

"That guy who saw the alien attack some of the students?"

"Yeah, I left him on a park bench."

"Yeah, we should find him, I might want to ask him some questions too."

"Whoah, whoah! I'm not sure if thats a good idea, if he sees you who knows what'll happen. We should at least get you some sort of disguise, you look human enough when you arent transformed, as long as you cover up your ears you should be able to pass as a normal person. Here, you can borrow some of my things."

Shadows face blushed light green "Uhhh...maybe I'll just let you talk..."

"Oh just do it, now go get changed!" Tori handed her some things and pushed her back intot he bathroom, she alwys felt slightly uncomfortable.

Later at the school

Shin had walked intot he school building for the first time since the time when they had been attacked. It was after class time now so the only people there were the after school clubs as well as the kids from each class whose job it was to help prepare for the haloween party that would be in the next few days. He wandered by the area in the back of the school where it had been. There was no trace of anything there, all that was left was the can of spraypaint his freind had dropped when it had attacked. Nothing seemed to be here, he wandered back into the school, in the gym area a number of decorations for the party lay around that hadnt been put up yet.

Tori remembered that the pikachuwas still in the toilet at that moment. " Oh ya could you get old man pika while ur at it. Wouldn't want him to drown even though how much it'd benefit the world."

Tori laughed at her joke and went in the kitchen to make some food. Her culinary skills were second to none and almost imediately she whipped something up. She knew it'd be hard to fight off aliens on an empty stomach and she didn't eat anything since lunch.

In a matter of minutes she was almost done...

At the school Toris homeroom teacher noticed Shin walking around, for a moment the teacher seemed to blank out as something seized control of him.

Somewhere else

"Huh? Looks like someone I wasnt expecting is back at school, its the one that got away from my first day here." Aiko said.

"Whys he back there? You said he might have seen you, maybe he's back to investigate. We should go back and kill him."

"No, that other creature might still be around, I'll have one of my slaves do it for me. Now who shoudl i use?"

At the school

The janitor who was sweeping up not to far away suddenly had a glazed look come over his face as he looked in the direction Shin was heading.

At Toris house

Shadow came out of the bathroom looking a little embarrassed dressed in the clothes Tori had given her, a tank top and one of her skirts with old man Pika who as soaking wet. He seemed a little dissapointed Shadow wasnt naked anymore.

Shadow sniffed around "Hmmm...something smells pretty good."

"Yeah I made lunch." Tori took out a few bento boxes that were full of some pretty good looking food.

"Whooahh....this is like one of those Japanese schoolgirl lunches they show on anime. It's been so long since I've had decent food, usually I just get by eating things I find outside like birds and racoons. It's been so long...."

"Yeah I used to make this sort of lunch for Gmr."

"Was he your boyfreind or something? Because this is just like the boyfreind lunches the girls make in those animes."

"W-well we uhh...." Tori blushed.

"So is that a yes?"

"We should go to the school, he might already be there. We can eat on the way over."

Later at the school

Tori, Shadow and Old Man Pika who was inside of a back pack walked up to the front gate. "Hey come on, I can go in disguise too! I can pretend to be your dog!" he whined from inside the backpack.

"Do you sense anything funny here?"

"No, it doesnt seem to be here right now. But this is really weird, Mantacore told me, that including me, only two of us were supposed to exist on the planet. But whatever was here wasn't Mantacore."

"What's Mantacore?"

"It's a long story, supposedly he's the same species as me , but he looks like a wolf. Whatevers over here might not be easy to pick out, this type of alien usually picks a human to bond to. When that happens the alien will pick the form the human finds most favorible and will stay in that form the rest of their lives. It could look like anything! It could even look like one of the trees around the school if whoever it bonded with is some sort of hard core environmentalis."

"So wait a minute, you look like that because someone chose that form?"

"Yeah...."

"A tentacle girl....whoever chose that form must be a real perv!"

"Hehehe...I guess you could say that."

"But you don't seem to be attached to anyone like that. Then why...."

"Can we talk about something else?"

Before they could continue talking a student came up behind them "Toriyuki, who is this person?"

It was Akiko, the class rep "Oh this is..."

"Uhhh....my name is Haruko Mizunokoji!" Shadow combined the names of two seperate anime characters off the top of her head thinking of a name.

"Hmmm..." Akiko looked at Shadow suspiciously. "Your a bit unusual, is that make up for halloween? It's awfully well done!" she said referring the Shadows pale skin and red eyes.

"Y-yeah..."

"Akikiko san, have you scene that delinquent Shin around here?" Tori asked.

"No, why would you be looking for someone like him?"

Elsewhere

"That girl your so fond of Tori, she has a person with her, right now their talking with one of my slaves and asking about Shin."

"That is a little odd, do you think she suspects something?" Kazuo asked looking a bit worried.

"That's not what worries me, that person with her, I'm positive its the other creature like me that I've been sensing."

"Umm...Because..." Tori didn't like how she was being questioned so much and wanted to give a quick answer.

"Ummm...Haruko has a crush on him...yeah! I talked her into making a lunch for him." Tori tried to put on the most convincing smile she could muster while hoping Shadow wouldn't kill her.

"Welp if you haven't seen him maybe he's somewhere else!" She scratched her head tugging on Shadows arm. "C'mon Haruko you silly lovesick girl you!" Once they were out of everyones view they could talk more openly about what approach to take next.

“But your going in that Halloween make up? Is he into loligoth or something?” Akiko asked.

“Y..yeah…loligoth…” Shadow struggled to put on a smile, Someone was going to pay for this!

Akiko looked at them leave, that was an obvious lie, but how should she respond to their presence?

Inside the building

“Sorry about that. But I couldn’t think of anything else to say.”

“I like Loligoth.” Pika poked his head out of the bag only to have shadow bonk him on his bald head.

“Lets just find him and get out of here before your class rep shows up again. Wait a minute…” Shadow sniffed the air.

“What is it?”

“We might be too late….” Shadow continued sniffing following the smell of something. Whatever it was, it wasn’t close by, she continued following the smell until they got to the boiler room entrance that lead beneath the school.

"You sure have a good sense of smell."

"When that giant hyena ate me, its something I picked up.A dead body is down there.” Shadow went down first looking around. It was pretty dark down there, all the lights were turned off, but she could still see fine in the dark.
Hanging from a noose tied around a pipe was Shins limp form. Tori started to scream only to have Shadow cover her mouth. Something wasn't right, if the alien had killed him, there would be no body. This must have been done by a human accomplice, but who was it?

Suicide? No...impossible...he didn't want to die, he told me he'd do anything to not die. He was going to change Shadow. Someone killed him I'm sure and tried to make it look like suicide." She walked over to his corpse and closed his eyes. Luckily he suit kept her from leaving any fingerprints. She wasn't stupid in leaving anything that wasn't necessary at the seen of the crime.

She looked away from the body in sadness. She still wasn't quite use to corpses and death like Shadow and the others were. She sighed and hugged herself,"I hate to say it but, I think we may have lost our only lead to whatever had been picking off students at my school."

She looked to Shadow,"Anything bright come to mind?"
