Life Outside of Gantz
"Keep "Hope" Alive"
(Part 1) Gantz Room Takaido, TokyoDo to the excellent, but unintentional distraction Montezno was providing virtually everyone in the room missed something that would have been questioned. Takase Niito's eyes began glowing slightly red for a moment and Bobbie couldn't help, but glance in his direction. “Eh?” Bobbie asked as he turned and looked in the director's direction. He could have sworn he had seen something due to his excellent ability to see very well around him. If he was in danger he'd know well before any of the others. However, when he looked at Takase he noticed that the man was covering his eyes. This seemed strange to the crow and for a moment he glanced at Takase with a confused expression on his face. It was then that Takase fled into the hallway as if he were a bat out of hell. “Why had he done that”, “where was he going” and “why was he in a hurry”? Bobbie couldn't say for sure, but it was definitely suspicious. Lance Fredrickson gazed at his distracted feathered companion with a raised brow, “Bobbie, what is it?” he asked. He then followed Bobbie's eyes over toward the doorway. “Was it something you saw just now?” he rephrased. “Huh?” Bobbie responded before shaking his head. “Me? Psh...nah, I'm straight. I'll see ya around, bro. Bobbie's got some errands to run.” Lance couldn't help, but look on shocked as Bobbie took off with a single flap of his wings. “So I guess I can drop my end of the bargain then?” he asked him almost mentally stabbing himself for bringing up the promise he made of taking Bobbie to a strip tease. Without looking back, Bobbie shouted back, “I'll have to take a 'rain check'!”as he barely slid through the door that was still left open by Takase. 'If I'm onto something your going to owe me more then a strip tease...' Bobbie thought to himself as scenarios of Ami dressed in various revealing outfits played out through his head. “Bargain?” Lance heard someone ask him and turned to see Ami standing beside him, suitcase in hand. Though whether or not he chose to answer her she spoke once again. “There's something up with that guy over by the black ball and there's a girl inside too. I just want to get out of here...” she admitted before chancing a glance at Theodore who was sitting in a corner while massaging his temples. “and away from him.” She added. Lance nodded. “In a moment, but I know of a way to put the 'big-headed con-man' in his place.” he informed her before excusing himself for a moment. He then approached Theodore. “Get up...” Lance ordered. There was something he wanted to discuss and he didn't have patience to ask him politely. Meanwhile...Jomo-mo-mo looked on at Montezno with guilt. She wanted to tell him, but she couldn't bring herself to break the news to him. She wondered if he hated her. In fact, she knew he probably did, but would he ever for give her? They were a team after all, right? Jomo sighed dejectedly and faced the rest of the gantzers. She then then raised her hands to take her time to gesture to everyone, “There is nothing else left for us here...we should leave. Tomorrow afternoon...” she then brought her hands to herself, “I Jomo and-”and then pointed toward the veteran behind her. “Montezno will...be there. We'll explain all then.” Tomoko and Mako looked between the two veterans not sure what to make of Montezno's behavior and Jomo's sign language. “I never knew you could communicate...” Tomoko began before pausing. “Jomo is it?”she asked. The chimp smiled despite the scene behind her and nodded. She never really had a problem with Tomoko from the start and that interest Jomo had shown in her was beginning to be explained. They seemed as if they had a common mutual respect for one another. Tomoko could see the good in Jomo and Jomo could see the same in Tomoko. “Well if everyone else is in favor meeting up tomorrow I guess I can try to come too.” Mako stated rather shyly. She didn't want to be the last and only one to decide and even if she couldn't make it they certainly wouldn't know anyways. Tomoko glanced at Mako with a look of disapproval, “Don't you have school?” she interrogated. “I know this may effect our lives for better or for...worse, but that doesn't mean we should let it control us.” Mako thought about this for a moment, before remembering that she no longer had a home or a school to go to. She was no longer even Mako Mitsuhara. She was just a copy that would later be forced to sit and watch her former self enjoy her life. When she thought of this it was hard to grasp, but she figured she had. “Oh yeah, how could I forget?” Mako admitted, turning to leave and not saying much else. Jomo-mo-mo looked at Mako suspiciously after she had said that and left, but didn't pursue it further. She on the other hand, turned her attention to her controller to see it resembling a screen as if it were reseting. 'Gantz must be reconfiguring the controller, because of hacking.' She thought to herself. An Inn Shinjuku, TokyoFor the second time that morning a door was opened and a beautiful red-headed girl peeked her head in through the opening. Her face showed a slight blush as if her actions would be frowned on by others. Though when her eyes took time to scan the room she noticed that despite it being untidy there had been a occupant missing. At first her face showed signs of being worried until quickly shifting to that of a scowl. Despite being beautiful you might have mistaken her for the devil's advocate with that expression on her face. “Tam you fucking bastard, you left without paying!” she screeched. She remembered her father telling her distinctly that Tam Wei hadn't paid for his rent and was going to help work his ass off for the Inn. When Tam had signed in for a room he instead, signed his name on a document stating that he was their property. It had been amazing what you could do to foreigners who couldn't read Japanese. “There's no way in hell I'm going to let you walk away that easily...” Makoto announced with her fist in the air. Almost as if it were a challenge of some sort. She then noticed something off to the side that resembled a PDA and a gun of some sort. “This b-belonged to him?” she asked out loud as she picked it up. Makoto dismissed the gun and then focused on the controller. It was a small hand-held device with numerous buttons. She was curious as to what they did and found herself pressing one. Her curiosity was then rewarded as a map of her current location was displayed as well as several instances of the name Gantz being shown. “Damn...he was foreign alright...” she whispered in awe. Highway 20 - Theater Yokosuka-Honcho, TokyoThere hadn't been much traffic on the highway and a black limo could be seen jeering from lane to lane as several other black trucks followed in suit. They appeared as if they were somehow posing as a escort just in case something were to present a threat to the limo. It made you question “who was in the limo”, “where were they headed” and “why they needed such an escort”. Inside of the limo a man in suit and tie could be seen sitting cross-legged, rotating his wrist, in which his hand held a glass of expensive red wine. However, despite how refreshing it looked the man didn't drink and continued to swish around the red substance as if it were a means to waste time. The man had money and he hadn't been in a hurry to drink, because this glass would certainly not be his last. A tinted window ahead of him began to lower as his driver looked into his rear view mirror. The driver shifted his chin upward ever so slightly to be able to see passenger as a man with silken blonde hair and dark black shades. The man looked as if he were in his early thirties despite his age of being a little over 40. “Sir, we have arrived at your destination.” the limo driver informed him in Japanese, watching the man in the back apply a comb to his already well groomed hair. “And might I add you look ravishing...” The man in the back took a moment to allow the man's words to sink in before turning his attention to his door, causing the limo driver to immediately spring out of his seat and fast walk around the car to open it. Also while taking time to glance at the white and red symbol of an umbrella displayed on door. When the passenger exited the vehicle he could see on his right and left that there were special service agents lined up and at his disposal. He then would lean to his left to speak to one of them while glancing back at the limo driver. “See to it that my driver is given an 'extended' vacation.” he stated with hardly any emotion. The agent nodded understandingly, “Understood.” The blonde haired man would then look forward to see a theater where several special task forces were armed, stationed and ready to enter. Farther back he could see a hefty supply of policemen creating road blocks to prevent civilians from entering the theater. “What is the height of the situation?”he asked a nearby agent. “Moderate, sir. We are standing by on your command to eliminate the target.” “Eliminate? No. Is it possible for you to capture it?” he questioned, before taking a moment to eye the many civilliains including a girl who was peering over the crowd. This girl had been Ashley Williams and despite being pissed that she was stood up by Dane she happened to witness the theater across the street become a target of Umbrella. Umbrella had once been rumored to be a company in charge Military Bio-weaponry for the United States until shortly after disappearing without a trace. Years later its history had been erased for unknown reasons and had begun to work undercover for several other companies including NERV. Though, now its company could now be found stationed in Japan, conveniently months before a terrorist attack left NERV in ruin. “Hey, you!” A police officer called out to Ashley Williams. “Aren't you supposed to be in school?” 'Damn!' Ashley thought to herself as the cop pointed to the back of his seat. She wasn't sure how she was going to explain getting escorted to school to her folks, but she was more concerned with where Dane was and what the hell the military was up to.

Raito had left early. He was the first one to leave. After the man had told where he could find his suit he searched through the cases until he found one with his name on it. He didn't bother to open and took it by the its handle walking in to the hallway. There he glanced back and it was then he realized the tense atmosphere. He wondered if anyone here had morals or was trying to live by values. Some had taken the lead, but they seemed to be more focused on survival instead of saving other people. Raito felt alone and tired.
''I'll be there'' He whispered under his breath as he turned around to walk out the door which was formerly closed. It was time to go home.
After the two hour walk the sun was starting to rise as he stood in front of his front door.
''Shit, what am I going to tell my wife''
It was only now he'd thought about it. And it was also only now that he remembered he was supposed to be dead! How would he explain this to his wife. Suddenly the door opened. His wife opened it. The first thing that crossed Raito's mind was why she would be up this early as he stood face to face to his wife who seemed to be frozen, as all the color from her skin faded away. His head started to ring. It was the same sound that he had heard at the theater. Raito clutched his head. It was feeling like it was going to blow up! But before anything could happen his wife collapsed and landed with a thud on the ground. The ringing was gone and Raito looked up to see his wife passed out on the ground.
''Honey''
He heard an adolescent voice cry out 'mom!' as footsteps could be heard coming down the stairs. In a moment of panic Raito ran away. He didn't know why he was running and where to, but his gut instincts were telling him to run as fast as he could.

"I'm warning you..." T-bag said as he got up. "I am really pissed right now..." He said as his grip on the katana became stronger. If this guy was looking for a fight, he would have it.

OOC: Was going to have kiba fight oniko , but since demonicmuse is jumping straight into another mission I guess that won't be possible. Though I might have him have a run in with another character. Yeah I was thinking of having him run into the same Yakuza group that Futaba took control of.
IC:
Kiba had no intention of waiting around here and was about to Leave. After leaving he would go look for the yakuza again and hopefully get some clues to Onikos whereabouts. But then he noticed Lance and Big head were talking about something. This might be worth waiting around to see what they were up to.
"I'm warning you..." T-bag said as he got up. "I am really pissed right now..." He said as his grip on the katana became stronger. If this guy was looking for a fight, he would have it.
Kiba decided to wait and see what happened with these two before he left.

OOC: Right, I'm back from the lan party. Seems my projections was right, only missed one update.
IC: Lance stared at Theodores response.
"As expected of the creature. Tomorrow, an hour earlier then the rest is when you'll arrive if you wish to be welcomed into the group. Elsewise, don't bother turning up." Lance said, lowering his voice and leaning closer to the con artist to try and hide his words. He then straigtened himself and in a normal, even tone, he added one more line. "And don't come near any of the women for a while. Wild animals can cause disruptions that won't be beneficial to the herd."
Lance then turned away from the man, not wanting to continue that conversation yet. He returned to Ami's side, taking note that the chimp could indeed speak, and in turn understand normal speech.
"He shouldn't be causing any more trouble." Lance said to Ami. "Shall we leave? You lead the way to your house." He then moved to fall in line next to Ami, ready to escort her back to her home as he said he would, as well as preparing himself to answer the three questions he permitted. He knew however that he would need to leave to prepare some items for the team that was forming.

As the others began to leave, Anthony was well aware that if he didn't get friendly with one of them soon, he'd be spending the rest of his time here on the streets. Quickly pulling on his clothes over the suit, he left the apartment and walked outside. He could see Tokyo Tower even more clearly now; he'd be able to make his way there easily enough for tomorrow even if he was alone. Walking down the stairs that led out of the apartment, he thought about what to do. From what he had seen happen, he thought that asking most of the others for a place to sleep would be pointless; most of them either seemed untrustworthy, or he would seem untrustworthy to them. The guy Gantz had called "Shit Head", however, had remained cool and level-headed, and he had helped lead both out on the mission and back in the apartment. He also seemed prepared to put his trust in the others, if they were willing to do the same for him. "Shit Head", as Anthony only knew him, had said to "Damsel in Distress" that he would speak to her after the mission. They were both still in Gantz' room, so as Anthony reached the bottom of the stairs, he decided to wait there for them and ask Shit Head if he could help him out.
As he waited Anthony began to think about the things he would miss from home, as he was now stranded in Tokyo and saw no way of returning to England. He wouldn't miss school, or having responsibilities, and he didn't get on with his family and lived apart from them. They wouldn't even know he was gone. In fact, he could think of nothing that he would miss greatly. He didn't consider the people he hung around with real friends, just people who he wasted his time around. He felt at that moment very alone.

OOC: Italics are thoughts. Always.
IC: Fucker wants me to come an hour early? Sure I will. T-Bag thought to himself. He was really trying his hardest to contain himself. he wanted to rip this guy apart but it wouldn't be a smart move to do now since everybody had a bad impression of him. Blood was rushing to his head faster and faster and it took an almost red color. Walking outside, T-Bag took a different route than Lance. he was afraid he would do something stupid if he saw him again, for now. I'll come an hour early... He was talking to himself as he backtracked the katana so it wouldn't stand out. I'll come and then i will slit his throat. After that I will rape his corpse. If a normal person would hear these words, he would probably be scared. There was an almost crazy tone to his voice. As he thought about these things, his face turned into a maniacal grin he licked his lips imagining the scene. Then he went back to reality. He was feeling better, for now. "Dammit! I gotta stop thinking these things." He muttered as he saw his boner.
For now he would try to find a shop, a forgotten one were there weren't many people and he would rob it. He would not kill anyone as he was afraid they could come to that black ball's room the next time and that wouldn't be good. He would just get the money. it would be a breeze with the suit.

"He wants him to come an hour early, maybe its a trap? Well it's not my problem..." Kiba thought to himself putting whatever Lance and T-bag were up to behind him. Kiba couldn't waste any time eavesdropping, he needed to find those Yakuza so that he could find where Oniko was.
After getting outside Kiba began to wander around town looking for anyone suspicious, last time he had been roped into staying put at that hotel and then ended up in that library so he hadn't been able to properly search back then. But now there were no such contraints and he could look around as much as he wanted. But this place was damn big, where would the yakuza be in this huge city? It might be best to backtrack, he began heading towards the same neighborhood where he had discovered Lance Jay Wilson getting his ass handed to him by those thugs.
Somewhere else in that neighborhood Kiba was trying to find
For the past few days Futaba had been tracking the movements of Kojiro Arakawa in case he tried to tell anyone about her. If he did she would have to kill him. But so far things were going according to plan. Her pawn was currently getting his ass drunk at a local bar with some of his men. What an idiot, but he would have to do.

OOC: Italics are not only for thoughts, although IMO they make them look much better. I also use italics when copy/pasting what other people have written; as a mod, though, the idea is to make it seamless, so that would be self defeating. I guess, in the mod's writing, only thoughts should be italicized. Also, sorry I didn't update sooner; I came on a few days ago and checked but I couldn't find this part. I just looked in Eastern, which is where I think LOGs should probably be (just a personal preference, we already have it set up like this so no need to change it unless everyone agrees with me on that point). OK, let me wake Zerojii's ass up.
IC:
Everyone in the room ignored Zerojii after he lost his cool, but that was just the way he liked it. Zerojii looked at his controller again; it looked like it was defragging itself, as if it were a computer. It began to bug Zerojii that he knew what defragging a computer was when he had never even seen one, but he tried to ignore it. Knowledge was useful to him, and he wasn't about to look a gift horse in the mouth. Zerojii waited until the apparent defragging stopped, and then, he pushed the big button on the left of his controller; it was the only button he hadn't pushed yet. The other buttons seemed to have some control over the screen's position and zoom.
Zerojii had seen everything play out, and now knew for a fact that there was something fishy going on with the big headed guy. First, the little wild boy had tried to kill him; now, the only other apparently sensible person in the room was telling big head to show up to the meeting early. Zerojii decided he'd go to Tokyo tower and scope the area out; he'd be there an hour ahead of time, too; he wanted to make sure the area was safe. Zerojii wasn't sure if these guys were going to kill one another, but he decided to take his chance and escape from the room unnoticed while he could. He had heard the monkey's sign language speak, but at this point, nothing surprised Zerojii, and all she'd said signaled was that she'd give them more information later. `How fucking typical,` Zerojii thought to himself as he went down the steps, being sure to remember a few landmarks on the way to Tokyo tower.

OOC: Sorry for the late update, expect regular one's from now on. By the way, Jomo cannot speak. Last update I was sure it would be understood that she was gesturing to everyone in sign language. Its just that I criticize my writing so much and I find it annoying to repeat she's gesturing doing that every time she attempts to communicate. Tjad, I control time and your character is 52. Oh and Benry...if you want to con people into thinking that italics are your thoughts at least recognize that your doing this in your own writing. Several times in your post you've stated that he was talking to himself and that if other people were to hear you they'd think you were crazy. What? Next time I'll just have someone, maybe even a cop hear you, then your character can really appear crazy. Dead crazy...gosh I'm mean aren't I? IC:When Zerojii attempted to investigate and press the remaining button on his controller someone bumped into him. The slight action caused the controller to fall out of Zerojii's hand before he caught it once more. The controllers were very fragile and whether or not Zerojii knew this he was very lucky not to drop it. “Oh, I'm sorry.” Tomoko replied with her cellphone in her hand. She appeared to have someone on hold and she focused again on who she was talking to. “Yes, thats fine. I'll be outside waiting...” Tomoko then turned to Zerojii once more before bowing apologetically. “I just called a cab, do you need a ride?” she asked him as if it were a way to make amends for bumping into him. Meanwhile...Kiba could be seen eavesdropping the moment that Lance had approached Theodore. It was to be expected that something interesting was about to happen whenever it involved the “Con-man”. Not to mention, the fact that their previous altercation had excelled this interest. If something were going to happen to Theodore he probably hoped it was bad, if not death. "I'm warning you..." Kiba heard Theodore state to Lance as he rose to face him. "I am really pissed right now..." He said as his grip on the katana shaft became slightly more tense. However, try as Kiba might to hear Lance's response the mercenary lowered his voice and leaned closer to the “con artist” to try and hide his words. "As expected of the creature. Tomorrow, an hour earlier then the rest is when you'll arrive if you wish to be welcomed into the group. Else wise, don't bother turning up." Lance said, He then straightened himself and in a normal, even tone, that Kiba could finally hear, he added one more line. "And don't come near any of the women for a while. Wild animals can cause disruptions that won't be beneficial to the herd." Ami had heard this and couldn't help, but stick her middle finger up at Theodore as if to add another blow to the man's pride. When she finished doing this she was caught off guard by Lance had now returned to her side. "He shouldn't be causing any more trouble." Lance informed. "Shall we leave? You lead the way to your house." “My house?” Ami asked as if embarrassed by the suggestion. 'He wants to come over my house? Isn't that a bit sudden?' she thought to herself, before her stomach growled and snapped her out of her train of thought. “He he he he...I guess I'm sort of hungry...” She admitted. “Say, I know a place where they serve the best pancakes! You have some time to kill, right?” she asked. She was hoping to avoid having to go back home as long as she could. She didn't want to face her dad, at least not yet. He'd probably flip if he saw Lance and jumped to conclusions. “Come on!” She persuaded him tugging on his arm, unintentionally poising to pull it from the socket as she dragged him outside. “Hey, do you think I could...uh...come along?” Anthony asked knowing full well that he had nowhere else to go after leaving here. He had no clue where he was either. His mere question caused Ami to turn and face him and then Lance with a look of shock in her eyes, 'Nuuuuuuuuuuuu~!' she thought to herself as her expression paled. Outside the apartment...Theodore and Kiba had already left and headed in opposite directions. It appeared as if Kiba was in too much of a hurry to find the Yakuza rather then to ask about what was said between Lance and Theodore. On the other hand the “con-man” had been too pissed at Lance to even consider Kiba as being the source of his anger. So, this could probably be the reason why none had noticed one another as they left. 'Fucker wants me to come an hour early? Sure I will. Theodore thought to himself, while reflecting on Lance's words. It looked as if were going to explode as his fingers flexed as they wanted to rip Lance apart. 'I'll come an hour early...'he trailed off in thought, retracted his katana, and bumped into a bum who fell and rolled off to the side. 'I'll come and then I will slit his throat. After that I will rape his corpse.' As he imagined this, his face turned into a maniacal grin, and he licked his lips. He then snapped out of his fantasy and saw that many people around him were giving him odd looks. "Dammit! I gotta stop thinking these things."He muttered as he saw his boner. Another man saw it as well and couldn't help, but wink at him. “Ditto...” the man replied before purring in Theodore's ear as he passed by. The feeling probably would diminish whatever boner that Theodore had, but that'd depend on his preference of sexual taste in the end. Before long he arrived at a discount convenience store. After walking inside he could see there had been an old lady at the cash register, counting out change for a cashier that was palming his face. “Hurry up lady...” he muttered under his breath. The old lady looked puzzled and asked,“Ya say somethin' there Toshi?” “Umm...no and its Touji...” the cashier replied and gave Theodore a look of sympathy. When he looked at the gantzer he couldn't help, but focus on the suit he was wearing. Theodore had plans on robbing this store and by the looks of how things were going it wouldn't appear that hard. If he were to look up, though he'd see a camera in each of the four corners of the square shaped store. Each camera was positioned so that it could easily see into one of the aisles and there had also been a camera that was well hidden behind the counter. Outside of the Store...Raito, being the first to exit out of the room was able to head home first to see his family. Without much success in them accepting him as being alive he was now running, despite his age. A few moments after beginning his sprint he fell over to clutch his his sides and catch his breath. His emotions must have have made him forget about how old he truly was. Either way, he was now stationed in front of that very same convenience store that Theodore was in. His back had been turned to the store and as he lay on the ground thoughts of his family's reaction replayed over and over in his head. He was the reason why his wife had collapsed. He was the reason why she was in pain. What could he do? An Inn Shinjuku, Tokyo Makoto had seen enough of the controller mechanics. She knew that whatever weapons these were they wouldn't be something that you'd find easily. If she were able to find out who made this technology she'd probably be able to track down Tam Wei. Her gang had connections so it was possible if anything... With her mind made up she placed the x-gun and controller in a gym bag and hurried down stairs. “Father, I'm heading out for a bit...” she called out, but the old man had already been too interested in the broadcast that was on the news. A Block Away From Theater Yokosuka-Honcho, TokyoAs Kiba attempted to retrace his steps it became apparent that it was virtually impossible for him to get to Chiba without transportation by night fall. After the first hunt he had gotten there by cab and Hope had lead him from then on. Without her or Tomoko around it'd be hard to even obtain a taxi to get to Chiba! However, Kiba probably didn't know this and as he walked on he ended up reaching a main street that intersected at four different roads. It was evident that the boy was lost and had no clue where he was going. If he were to look ahead he'd see a bunch of commotion and road blacks that were blocking off the street ahead. He was then pushed aside by a force almost inhumane. This force was brought on, by whom he could remember vaguely as a fellow gantzer. This gantzer was Takase and could be seen running toward the crowded scene and disappearing into the crowd. How had he gotten so fast and why the hell were his eyes glowing red? Kiba would then hear the sound of flapping wings and when he turned instinctively, he barely moved out of the way to avoid a crow heading right for him! Instead, of being hit by the crow's careless flying, the crow soared head first into a nearby stop sign. If Kiba were to look closely he'd see that the crow was Bobbie and he was muttering something. It sounded as if he were asking, “Which way did he go, huh? Which way did he go?” Outside Theater Yokosuka-Honcho, Tokyo“Well?” the man in suit, tie and shades prompted as his focus was back on the agents and a general who was now currently present. “Wesker, sir. That can easily be arranged...” the general responded. “See to it that our exposure is kept to a minimum. I'm well aware that our hired arms are new to our line of work and can be careless when it comes to getting the job done.” “You would be referring to our new over zealous recruit? I can see to it that he is retained as back up only.” The general suggested while eying a specific mercenary who could be seen hitting on a reporter. “No...that isn't necessary. Actually I'm curious if he can live up to his reputation...If I've been well informed I hear that they call him Dr. Death, correct?” Wesker replied as he watched the mercenary wave to the blushing girl. “But that's only, because-” the general tried to explain only to sigh as Wesker smirked at him. He then said nothing else as he approached the media who immediately began snapping pictures and photos of him. He didn't seem to mind this, but never removed his black sunglasses as several microphones were shoved in his face. “Wesker are the rumors true? Is there really an extra terrestrial creature living inside that theater?” “A creature? Yes. But, an alien?” he stated while raising a hand in his own defense to silence them. He then laughed before responding, “We are not entirely sure at the time, but rest assure, Umbrella has everything under control.” When he finished speaking he turned to face the entrance of the theater, seeing his armed forces approach the building. He then straightened his tie and stood tall and proud as he witnessed his organization's power at work. 'Look on as a my livelihood prospers before your very eyes.' Wesker thought to himself. Off to the side, a green army truck was stationed as a man in an Umbrella Special Forces uniform had his feet dangling off back of the vehicle. Under his uniform his arms looked as if he had hit the gym on the regular. In his mouth his teeth clenched a cigar, on his head he had been wearing a cowboy hat and his gas mask was held in his hand when it was supposed to be on his head. However, he didn't have long to relax as a shadow loomed over him, forcing him to look up and smile arrogantly at his general. “Howdy.” the over zealous mercenary greeted. “What can a guy like me do for an old man like you?” 'O-old m-man?' The general thought to himself as his head turned red in anger. “Why is it that your the only merc that gives me his ass to kiss?” he shouted. “I just wanna know, enlighten me!” The merc grinned at the general with innocent eyes as he blew smoke in his face. “That's cause it's a mighty fine piece of swine, ya silly old geezer.” he replied. “If it were up to me I'd ship your ass back to boot camp, but Wesker seems to have taken a liking to you. Why? I have no clue, but mark my words...You will NOT come back alone and you will NOT ignore orders. Got it?” The general ordered as a vein popped out of his forehead. The merc took off his hat and placed it to the side before putting on his gas mask. He then looked back up to the general and spoke. “H.U.N.K hears ya loud and clear, old man.”

Lance looked at Anthony for a moment, before opening his mouth to respond.
"I don't have any business to do with you tonight, while I still have unfinished business with Ami. Make your own way out, attend tomorrow to the training session if you wish to discuss something with me." Lance responded in an even tone. He then turned to face Ami, letting her lead him away from the apartment. Once they were a little distance away, he spoke again.
"I said I would return you to your home, but there is still the matter of unfinished business, and due to the events of that room, I have been unable to engage in proper maintenance cycles. Lead onto the establishment and we can talk there." Lance told Ami, accepting Ami's offer for pancakes in his own fashion. He then let her continue to lead him onto the pancake house. He knew however, he was gonna end up having to pay for the meal and was happy that he kept his wallet on him the entire time. He did take his coat off at that point however and put it on Ami's shoulders, public indecency charges wouldn't be beneficial to his plans.

As soon as he asked the question Anthony regretted it. It was clear from the look on Ami's face that he wasn't welcome. 'Damn it, its the streets for me then,' he thought, a comical expression his face.

'Ah, no worries, it can wait 'til tomorrow,' Anthony replied, trying to brush it off lightly as the two walked away from him. 'Geez, how anal is he?'
Most of the Ganzters had left by now, and Anthony didn't really want to approach any more of them for fear of being turned down again. He wandered over to the road by the apartment, trying to look bored and aimless (which wasn't hard) in the hope that a kind teammate would offer help.
'Give it fifteen minutes, or until all the others have definitely left,' he thought, glancing back at the apartment building for no particular reason 'and I'll roll a joint. I deserve it.'

OOC: I though I had changed Raito's age at the beginning but probably forgot. Also I thought that it was already morning because an officer asked Ashley whether she shouldn't be at school.
IC:
Raito was breathing heavily. He hadn't run like that in a long time. His condition wasn't how it was twenty years ago. As he looked back he saw he was leaning against an convenience store. He could use something to eat since his belly was hurting. But he also realized he wouldn't be able to swallow anything.
''She fell down so hard'' he thought to himself as his hands balled up to fists.
The suitcase lay in front of him. He would at least get something to drink. As he stood upright he could feel a stinging pain, from the running. Looking inside the store he saw one of the gantzers that was in the room. His eyes widened as he recognized it was the man that he was following. He remembered now what had happened earlier that night. Why he was chasing him, how he went after a speeding vehicle, how he crashed. But the rest was still blank. He quietly walked in to one of the isles making sure the man wouldn't notice him. While walking aorund he kept his eyes on him. Finally he found a bottle of Coca Cola, his favorite. He didn't enter the line yet though.

OOC: I know i messed up in some parts where i used italics thats why i specified that FOR ME, italics are always thoughts.
Out of old habit, T-Bag looked up and at the sides of the shop to see if there were cameras around. He didn't expect that a shop like that would have cameras but he guessed wrong. He walked slowly to the front thinking what to do. Surely it was easy to rob this place but the problem was with the cameras. If the police got a hold of his face, they would surely identify him as a criminal from the US. Then they could transmit this on TV and the other gantzers could know about him. Not forgetting that he would have the FBI up his ass. No matter though, he decided he would rob the place. He was really hungry and that was the only thing he could do. He would wait for the cashier, who was the young guy to go out and then he would act.
T-Bag turned around, waiting for the old lady to finish her counting and leave so he would be alone with the cashier. But he saw none other than Raito, the cop from the room who had seemed to enter there and had gotten a cola. Now his plans had changed. Raito was a gantzer and a cop too and it certainly wouldn't be good if he saw him rob the place. He couldn't kill Raito because of the cameras. T-Bag moved towards Raito. "Hello how are you doing!" He said in english but he knew Raito would understand thanks to Gantz. "You're the guy who was injured in the mission right?" He whispered as he got close to Raito's ear so the cashier wouldn't hear him. "I went to search for help but the situation turned pretty ugly and i almost died myself." T-bag said in a serious tone to his ears.
Then he backed from him and gave a warm smile. "Well i'm glad you're ok." He lied to him. He would wait to see what the cop would say and then act accordingly.

OOC: Sorry ronnie I assumed when reading last time that when she gestured to everybody she was just doing it to get their attention, and then she talked. Like raising a hand or something. I see what you meant now, though. my bad.
IC:
`What a stupid bitch,` Zerojii thought to himself as he barely managed not to drop the controller. Tomoko had not been looking where she was walking, which seemed to be a trait shared by damn near all of these rogues. It was the last straw, for Zerojii. He had been wanting to help these people from day 1, but they were all just too god damn caught up in their own worlds to see the bigger picture. Zerojii kept his attention on the controller, and pressed the button he'd been meaning to press. Apparently, nothing happened, so Zerojii just walked on by Tomoko, muttering, "Nowhere for me to ride to, anyways." Zerojii would continue on with his plan of scouting the area from where he was now to Tokyo tower, if nothing else interupted him.

"Damn it! This place doesn't look familiar at all!" Kiba was about to give up and go try to find something to eat , but this idea was interupted in an unexpected way. Something ran by hitting him , he glanced to see who it was, it was someone fromt he room , though he didn't know him that well. But what really caught his attention were his glowing eyes. Something strange was about that guy. Could he be some sort of alien in disguise? Takase headed into a crowed of people up ahead, it seemed there was some sort of commotion going on over there. Kiba didn't want to get involved in whatever was drawing all that attention, but he had to find out what the deal was with Takase, he'd just have to sneak over there and try to pick him out of that crowed.. Kiba was about to go after him when something flew by his head smacking into a stop sign. It was that talking crow from the room! He walked over to Bobbie and began poking him with a stick. "Hey crow! Wake up!" had Bobbie been after Takase, maybe he knew what was going on. If he got the crow to come to its sences he'd question it about Takase before going after him.

A Block Away From Theater Yokosuka-Honcho, Tokyo
Kiba recognized Bobbie as being the same crow from the room. This might have been hard to tell by physical appearance, but he was the only crow that he'd ever heard talk. Kiba wasted no time walking over and crouching beside Bobbie to poke him with a stick.
"Hey crow! Wake up!" Kiba shouted, hoping to question the bird about why he was chasing Takase and about what the hell was up with the guy's eyes.
The stick poked at the bird's wings pushing him into a nearby puddle. The moment his feathers became submerged in water the bird awoke almost as if he were panicking. “Ack, I'm drowning!” He screeched in the puddle before coming back to his senses to see a stick infront of him. “Ahhhh!” he shouted and hopped out of the puddle.
Bobbie then glared at Kiba, “Did you pee on me?” the crow asked while sniffing himself. It hadn't rained here in days and that seemed to be the only puddle for miles that smelled suspiciously of putrid urine. His eyes then widened as if in realization. “Wait...did you see that director on 'speed' run by here?”
Outside Theater
Footsteps could be heard as the shadows of men could be seen approaching the entrance of the theater. These were several groups of mercenaries to be exact and were equipped with gas masks as well as being armed with assault rifles. Whatever was about to happen it had to be serious if Umbrella had gone through all this trouble in such a short period of time.
Hunk was intermingling with the other mercenaries. He seemed as if he blended, but not well enough as a hand fell on his shoulder. “Hey, there's been a change of plans. We've just been briefed to capture the target inside.” the man informed him while positioning a rifle on his shoulder.
“Easier said then done, but that's never been a problem.” Hunk replied as several of his comrades approached them.
“Clear out a safe haven in the lobby. We'll-” The man stopped short to gesture to his unit. “be stationed in the lobby. Lead that thing back to us and we'll tranq and gift wrap it to go, boys.”
Hunk nodded before stopping to think about what the man meant by that. “Wait, Luke. If your unit is staying behind then that'd make us...”
Inside Theater
'Live bait...'Hunk thought with malice as several mercenaries including himself stormed in through what remained of the entry into the theater.
The mercenaries took time to use the flashlight attached to the top of their guns to scan the dark lobby. In the head of the pack had been a man who looked as if he was the most fit of the group, despite his gear on. This man was Hunk and his hand rose to stop a unit of ten before leading his unit consisting of five others, up ahead.
Hunk then spoke into his radio. “Hey, how's it taste kissing a dry old man's ass? ” he asked before glancing back at the man who was now giving him a thumbs up.
“Yeah, what type of shit is this?” someone in Hunk's group asked almost as if he was more annoyed rather then pissed.
“Thanks, dudes!” Luke responded in his radio with returned sarcasm. He then added, “I knew I could count on you, so ya'll come back now ya heard?”
Luke was only ignored and Hunk's stride stopped in the middle of the lobby. He could see someone sprawled out on the floor in his night vision. “Get up...slowly...with your hands above your head.”
The teenager blinked a couple times as if he were trying to make out whoever it was that was shining a light in his eyes. His uniform looked as if he worked here, but that didn't seem to count for much. This mercenary's gun was pointed at him and he would only have moments to live if he didn't do as he requested.
The boy stood and did as he was told before speaking. “I'm not one of those things...I saw them in the restroom...ask the others!” he shouted in his own defense as his hands were pulled behind him. “Hey, I'm Shinichi Kudo. I said I'm not...I work here!”
“Quiet.” one of the mercenaries ordered before injecting him with a needle. As the boy feel into unconscious he placed him over his shoulder.
Hunk then spoke into his radio, “We've recovered and sedated a civilian. He mentioned seeing something in the restrooms.”
“Bring him out. We can question and test him later. Focus on the target from now on. That's our main priority.” was the response given back to him.
Gantz Room Takaido, Tokyo
`What a stupid bitch,` Zerojii Kenpachi thought to himself as he barely managed not to drop the controller. Tomoko hadn't been looking where she was walking and that was the last straw. He had wanted to help these people, but they were all just too caught up in their own worlds to see the bigger picture. Zerojii kept his attention on the controller, and pressed the button he'd been meaning to press.
He suddenly began to change frequencies before Tomoko's eyes. He had disappeared out of the blue and could no longer be seen by Tomoko, but Zerojii had no clue of any of this even happening. He instead, walked on by Tomoko, muttering, "Nowhere for me to ride to, anyways."
“Mr. Samurai?” she called out in response to seemingly no one in particular. “How did you...where did you?” she asked, before hearing a horn outside. She didn't know how to explain what she just witnessed. Maybe it didn't really even take place and she was hallucinating from sleep deprivation.
Outside
When Tomoko arrived outside she could see a Taxi was waiting on her alone. It was then that she remembered that Hope, Kiba and Kramarr wouldn't be riding along with her. This hurt her mostly, because of Kramarr and she would have liked ride with anyone rather than by herself.
Once inside she sighed and reached over to close the door. Once she closed it the door reopened, but try as she might to close it again, something had been keeping it ajar. “Excuse me, but I think your door is-” she tried to state only to hear the door on her left open as well. Her hand was then pried off the handle and thrown into her lap.
Something weird was going on and try as she did to explain what was happening, she couldn't. It didn't make any sense and the fact that the seat cushions around her were now showing signs of being sat in didn't alleviate her anxiety, not one bit. There was no one else back here, but her, right?
The doors closed and she was momentarily relieved. Only to have shock display on her face once again as the doors locked and two mime aliens changed frequencies. Each of them filled the weight depression in the seats on her left and right and waved at her with a gantz katana materializing in each of their hands.
Tomoko could only whimper as she felt the blades press against her bosom. “What do you want with me?” she asked while looking ahead at an inhumanly pale man who was bald.
The man turned toward her revealing himself to her as being none other then the Dark Magician. He had a crazed look in his eyes and a maniacal grin displayed on his face. In his hand he held an extended antenna that was connected to a replica of her yellow cellphone. He then acted as if he'd just noticed it before speaking, “Compensation for unpaid dues, of course.”
Her phone rang and the Dark Magician turned to start the car. She didn't want to answer it, but as the car pulled off the mimes' blades gave her no other option. She would have to comply with her captive's wishes or else who knew what they'd do to her.
Meanwhile...
Anthony had been sitting on bench at the time that Tomoko's taxi had pulled off. His eyes were on that of the apartment rather then being on whatever was happening to her. He was currently thinking back to what had happened in the room with a twinge of self pity and regret. He must have looked like an idiot in there.
He remembered asking,“Hey, do you think I could...uh...come along?” It was then clear from the look on Ami's face that he wasn't welcome. 'Damn it, its the streets for me then,' he thought, with a comical expression his face.
Lance then looked at him, before opening his mouth to respond. “I don't have any business to do with you tonight, while I still have unfinished business with Ami. Make your own way out, attend tomorrow to the training session if you wish to discuss something with me.” Lance responded in an even tone.
He then turned to Ami. "I said I would return you to your home, but there is still the matter of unfinished business, and due to the events of that room, I have been unable to engage in proper maintenance cycles. Lead onto the establishment and we can talk there." he stated.
Ami laughed at his response. “Gee, you sound like a robot when you talk like that!” she informed him leaving Anthony to stand by and watch as the two walked away from him.
“Ah, no worries, it can wait 'til tomorrow,” Anthony called out to them, trying to brush it off lightly, but was only ignored.
Anthony then sighed after snapping out of thinking about those previous events. “Geez, how anal is he?” he asked out loud while referring to Lance.
Most of the Ganzters had left by now, and Anthony didn't really want to approach any more of them for fear of being turned down again. He wandered over to the road by the apartment, trying to look bored and aimless, hoping that a kind teammate would offer help.
Time had came and went and he found himself, absentmindedly rolling a joint, before a pair of long slender arms wrapped themselves around his neck and torso. A girl was hugging and feeling him up from behind and they were wearing the same Gantz suit as him.
Across the Street
Zerojii, in stealth, happened to be walking by and was able to see this. The girl that was hugging Anthony from behind was Mako Mitsuhara. Her right hand ran along his chest before finding and taking the blunt he had just finished rolling. Her left felt along his person until she was able to find his lighter. She then lit the blunt and raised it to her lips, closing her eyes to take a drag.
This might have been of no concern to Zerojii, but in his head he could hear the Puppet Master's voice. He was speaking to him almost as if he were taunting to him. “Mr. Kenpachi, you might believe that you can confide and trust in them, but you are quite mistaken.”
As he said this Mako looked in his direction and blew smoke from her mouth. The lighter in her hand was dropped and she placed that hand behind her back. When Zerojii could see her hand once more it held a katana that was extended to the length of a dagger, holding it behind Anthony as if she were going to stab him while he wasn't looking.
“You aren't like the others. These aren't your allies...they are your enemies. Our enemies!” The Puppet Master explained causing Zerojii's eyes to burn with a red hue.
Outside Mako's House Tamaden, Tokyo
Mako sat in a tree looking through her dinning room window as her parents made a sobbing scene. It was just what she needed to feel terrible about dying. She wanted to tell them that she was right outside watching them, but the real Mako was still alive. She herself could only be considered as a imitation or an unwanted copy. This was worse then death.
She then heard a creak in the tree as someone sat down beside her. The boy was naked and she turned away instinctively. “Get off your gonna break the tree...” She stated in a tone that showed she didn't want to be bothered.
“But, I don't want to...” Shin replied as he began to swing from the branch as if he were a gymnast's monkey
Mako sighed seeing his speed increase as his entire body did laps around the once sturdy branch. “Stop it before someone sees us!”
“That's impossible. I only want you to see me.”
“So that's how it works. What if I wanted you to disappear?”
Shin stopped swinging only to look at her with a shocked expression. “Your kidding?” he asked her only to remove his hands from the tree branch. He should have fell, but he didn't. He instead, could be seen swinging as if nothing was wrong. “Mako! Mako look! No hands!” he shouted as if it were the most spectacular thing in the world.
Mako smirked inwardly before sighing. “I don't even want to know how your doing that, but stop.”
“Aw, your no fun.” Shin whined as he swung around once more to plant himself back up next to her. There was an uncomfortable silence as they watched Mako's parents argue through the window. The silence was then diminished as Shin asked her a question. “Who's memory was it, anyways?” he asked with seriousness in his voice.
“I don't want to talk about it. I feel terrible about giving it to her enough as it is.”
“Fair enough, I wonder who it was that didn't get their's back then. Its been bothering me to tell you the truth.” Shin replied sounding as if he were in deep thought.
“What do you mean? You mentioned someone named Zerojii, but I don't know who that is.”
“Well if that orb belonged to Tomoko...and you saw two others with you, one of them was someone in your team named Zerojii, I ran into him while he was a puppet. The other is someone who has yet to let anyone know he or she has even lost it. That someone is what I'm worried about.”
“Oh, well that Zerojii guy didn't necessarily say much about losing his memory either.” Mako admitted.
Shin shook his head before turning to look at Mako.“What exactly did the Puppet Master ask you to do?” he inquired.
Diner Tamaden, Tokyo
Lance and the damsel in distress had made it to the diner in record time. During the walked people had glanced at Ami's legs, but most of her was covered by Lance's coat, in which seemed way too big for her. Nothing much was said during the walk accept for the sound of Ami humming despite all that had happened earlier that day.
Ami Ryousuke was like a child in a 17 year old girl's body. Her eyes sparkled the moment the waiter laid out the stacks of pancakes for Lance and Ami to eat. Next to their respective three stacks of 'smilie face' pancakes was a cup of tea for Ami and a cup of coffee for Lance.
If Lance were to look at Ami's pancakes he'd notice that her pancakes indeed were smiling while his were frowning at him. If he looked at the waiter behind the counter he could see that the man was frowning at him and watching them with unappreciative stare.
“Thanks by the way.” Ami spoke referring to Lance's jacket that she wore and the meal he opted to pay for. She then cut herself a triangular sliver of one of the hot cakes and began to twirl it on her fork.
“I'll be honest with you Lance and I want you to be honest with me too.” She began before eating the piece of pancake. “I'll ask you three questions and I'll let you do the same.” She then turned away as she blushed. “But, nothing too perverted though..”
Convenience Store Takaido, Tokyo
Raito accidentally left his suitcase outside and entered the convenience store. His reflection on his previous altercation with his wife and family must have been too distracting. He was now thirsty and he wanted to get something to drink to quench his thirst.
Looking inside the store he saw Theodore glancing around suspiciously at all the cameras. He then remembered running into him earlier that night. Why he was chasing him, how he went after a speeding vehicle, how he crashed. He quietly walked in to one of the isles making sure the man wouldn't see him, but as soon as he grabbed a coke he was spotted.
"Hello how are you doing!" Theodore greeted him. "You're the guy who was injured in the mission right?" He whispered as he got close to Raito's ear so the cashier wouldn't hear him. "I went to search for help but the situation turned pretty ugly and I almost died myself." T-bag said in a serious tone to his ears.
Theodore then he backed from him and gave a warm smile. "Well I'm glad you're ok." he lied.
Outside the Store
A motorcycle could be heard as it screeched to a halt. On it had been a female rider dressed in a dark red leather biker's outfit. Her slender leg was lifted off of the bike as she got off and approached what appeared to be a gray suitcase. It looked important considering as to how it was designed. She crouched down over the case, picked it up and opening it.
Her helmet hid her eyes as they widened at what she saw. “It looks as if our paths will cross once again.” she stated with a twinge of amusement in her voice. She was looking forward to getting a slurpee from the store, but this unexpected find changed those plans entirely.
The female biker placed the suitcase on her bike, taking time to strap it down and pulled out a well advanced hand held device. A lady's face was displayed on the screen and she couldn't help, but sigh in annoyance. “You have reached Umbrella Corporation, how may I help you...?” the lady asked before trailing off. She couldn't really tell who she was with that biker's helm on.
“I was wondering if it'd be any trouble for you to relay a message to a Mr. Albert Wesker?” she asked before continuing, “Tell him that I, Ms. Wong have and love his new product and would like him to call me whenever he'd like to have it back.”
“And this product is?”
“He'll know exactly what I'm talking about.” Ada Wong replied hanging up and getting back on her bike. She then glanced inside the store at Theodore. He had the same suit on too and she shook her head and laughed as she rode off.
“He'll never believe this...” she chuckled.

Lance took a long drink from his coffee, downing half the mug in one shot before eating one of the pancakes, not even caring to notice much in great detail. He just noted where people were in the event that his job turned up here. He placed the mug down on the table, removing his glasses and setting them down on the table as well and rested his knife and fork on the table as well as he stared at Ami's propesition.
"Payment. I said there would be some for protecting you on that mission. Attend the training session tomorrow. Forego all prior engagements and be there. That will be the payment, simply attend the training sessions. As for questions, I have none for you. I know your name, and I know you can't fight unless pushed. That is all I need to know." Lance responded. "Now ask your three. No limits on the questions." His gaze was flat, he was in his 'business as usual' mood. And while he waited for Ami's response, he began to eat once more.

Zerojii began to feel a rage well up inside of him. The puppet master was invading his mind once again, and Zerojii was not at all pleased about it. `I'm not sure if you can hear me, you batshit crazy son of a bitch, but the only thing that will ever be 'ours' is my memory, up until the point where it becomes mine again. Everything else is bullshit. These people are obviously of no use to me. Do with them what you will. I'm willing to ignore you, but you come after me again or try to tell me what to do, and we're gonna have some problems.`
Zerojii popped his y-gun and katana out of their holsters simultaneously. He aimed his y-gun at Mako and pulled the x-ray trigger, looking through it. Firing a shot over Anthony's head, Zerojii quickly moved closer in, so that if the shot hit, he could try to slam the girl in the back of the head with the hilt of his sword. If it missed, he would be sure to try to put his katana in the path of any sword strikes she made, only to try to circle her blade with his own in an attempt to disarm her. Zerojii wasn't sure where these strategies were coming from, but he was thankful that he at least had ideas. He'd have to wait until later to see whether or not they actually worked.

As Anthony felt hands across his body from behind, he tensed up. He couldn't say he didn't secretly enjoy it, but it also freaked him out a little. Who was it taking such an up-front interest in him? He felt the spliff leave his fingers, then the person's other hand reach and take the lighter our of his coat pocket. He heard it click and then heard the girl drag on it. 'What the hell is doing?' Anthony thought. 'This is just weird.'
Turning his head to face her he saw the face of a girl probably a couple of years younger than him. He recognised her from Gantz' apartment but didn't know her name and watched as she blew out smokef rom her mouth. Then he glanced out of the corner of his eye the short sword she held to his back. Instinctively he stood up, swung round to face her and took several spaces back. 'What the fuck are you doing?!' he demanded, eyes wide with shock. Anthony continued to step slowly backwards, drawing out the x-gun that he had taken from the room out of his other coat pocket and pointed it at her, holding it steady in both hands. He didn't really intend to shoot the girl, not yet anyway, not unless he could help it, but merely threaten her with the gun. Why was she trying to kill him anyway? He could only come to the conclusion that she was insane or anything. Maybe she'd get too high before starting a fight to be much of a threat. Somehow he didn't think so; she was carrying a sword, that was bad enough.

Bobbie then glared at Kiba, “Did you pee on me?” the crow asked while sniffing himself. It hadn't rained here in days and that seemed to be the only puddle for miles that smelled suspiciously of putrid urine.
Kiba hadn't but for some reason he felt like giving Bobbie a hard time, possibly because he was still pissed from what happened back on the hunt and now getting lost on top of that.
"Maybe..."
His eyes then widened as if in realization. “Wait...did you see that director on 'speed' run by here?”
"Oh yeah that guy! There's something weird about him, his eyes were glowing. Do you know why?"

"I went to search for help but the situation turned pretty ugly and I almost died myself." T-bag said in a serious tone to his ears.
Theodore's voice ran chills down Raito's spine. He was a completely different person from earlier that night. And when did he get hurt? he didn't remember any of it.
Theodore then he backed from him and gave a warm smile. "Well I'm glad you're ok." he lied.
''Thanks'' Raito replied politely. He payed for his coke and walked out the store. As he did he stood outside for a minute and took a sip. Then he remembered he left his suitcase. It wasn't there anymore!
''Shit'' He said as he looked around frantically.

T-Bag followed Raito outside the store. His plans had changed. After reflecting it better, stealing that shop for some yen would be stupid so he had a new and better plan. "Hey listen man, I don't wanna sound too intrusive but can you tell me how to get to Shinjuku? It's been a week since i arrived to Japan and i never got the chance to go there." T-Bag said smiling, rubbing his head.

A/N: Sorry about the late post guys, I'll have another one up tomorrow. We WILL make the deadline of the next mission beginning December 17th! Whether or not I have to post everyday up until then this log will be finished. Some changes include the fact that there will be part 1 and part 2 of this log. Each will consist of 15 days, game time.
Outside Mako's House Tamaden, Tokyo
Mako faintly remembered what the Puppet Master had asked her to do.
“He called everyone back in the room a rogue and wanted me and the others to kill them.”
Shin nodded; remembering Zerojii betraying his 'master' before his own eyes. It didn't explain what the Puppet Master wanted, but he could say for sure that the guy had chosen to oppose the gantzers.
“Why? Did he say anything else?” Shin asked, his elven-like ear twitching in interest and making the girl in front of him chuckle despite what they were discussing.
She nodded.
“If it counts for anything, he mentioned the orbs being stolen. He says they contain a part of his people and that he was the last of an extinct race. It sounds wishy-washy now that I think about it, because he's been the only one manipulating anyone's mind.” Mako explained.
Shin couldn't help, but laugh as she finished. Not even he would buy a far-fetched story like that from a guy known as the Puppet Master. It was obvious that he had purposely placed himself as the good guy of his story.
“Hey, are you laughing at me?” Mako inquired, obviously not approving of it at all.
If there was any laughter going on she wanted to know why and be able to laugh as well. The fact that she didn't know why Shin was laughing made her suspicious of him poking fun at her. She wanted to know why he was making fun of her!
Shin turned to glance at Mako, he placed a hand on her shoulder and gave her a look of remorse. “I'll be honest with you Miss Mako. I found it amusing that you and the others would allow yourselves to believe such lies. He is called the puppet master after all.” he laughed.
“Shut up, you weren't even there!” Mako retaliated.
Shin's laughter faded to smirk. He figured he had his fun and he wanted her to explain.
Mako's frown faded and she folded her hands on her lap. She then allowed her feet to sway back and forth as they dangled off the branch of the tree. “We both know he fiddled with our memories and when I awoke I was a puppet without really having a clue who I was. Believing him was a lot easier then denying the first explanation for existing that was thrown at me.”
“Makes sense.”
“All I saw was him, the others and whatever tea party he was having.”
Shin's eyes widened in concern. “You didn't drink any did you?” He asked with urgency.
Mako nodded, but regretted it soon after. Shin's hand was immediately placed on her forehead as if feeling for any sign of a fever. She was glad he was concerned for her safety, but she felt fine physically. It was how she felt inside, emotionally, that plagued her the most.
“Strange...you don't seem to have a fever or anything. The tea he offered me was poisonous.”
“I'm fine, really!” Mako insisted, but Shin eyed her with disbelief.
“Your lying. You look like hell and are unattractive at the moment.” he admitted, crossing his arms and looking down at a passerby who was a female.
Mako couldn't help, but feel a stab at her heart as he said this and looked at some whore who just so happened to be passing by. She wanted to knock him out the tree, but two could play that game.
“Well excuse me for not looking my best after experiencing all the hell that I've been through for the past two fucking days, Shin. My family doesn't even know I exist, I have no home, I have no friends and I've just seen some pretty fucked up shit.”
Shin opened his mouth to speak, but said nothing. He had to admit that the girl did have it rough. Maybe he should go easy on her for awhile.
“I'm just a dumb...naked...Neanderthal. Can you forgive me Miss Mako?”
As Shin had said this Mako blushed as she innocently glanced at his nude form. If she were completely honest with herself she would be able to admit that she hadn't paid much attention to his current state. And now that she had been reminded she probably would never be able to look at him again. He sure did know how to embarrass the hell out of her.
“Y-yeah.” She responded while looking away from him.
She then thought,'Why is he so comfortable with exposing himself like that?'
She'd have to get the guy some clothes or she'd surely die from embarrassment.
Shin on the other hand had a serious expression on his face. “Mako if you ever want to talk to me about anything you saw back there...I'm here. You mentioned no longer having a friend, but you forget that we have a bond. Consider me as friend if it helps.”
“You want to be my friend?” Mako asked him as if she were shocked as she looked at him in disbelief.
Shin arched an eyebrow at her.
“What is a 'friend' anyways?” Shin asked in response.
He was clueless.
Theater Yokosuka-Honcho, Tokyo
A masked mercenary carefully peeked into what remained of the restroom area. The place was a mess with water drenching the floors and spewing from severed plumbing. There had been a sizable chunk of the wall missing that use to separate the two restrooms by gender. It now could be considered as unisex, but the humor of that was far from Hunk's mind. From what he could see there had been no sign of anything that had left the restroom in such a state.
“Whatever did this didn't stick around to brag about it...” he heard someone from his unit muse.
He was right, but Hunk wasn't satisfied yet. Out of all the stalls in the restroom there had been one left standing with a closed door and this caught his interest. He placed his head against the door and listened.
Flap, Flap, Flap...
He wasn't an animal expert, but it sounded as if there were birds inside. It didn't make sense. Why would there be birds in here?
Hunk looked down at the puddle that trailed under the stall and shined his light on it. He was hoping to see a reflection of some sort of whatever was inside the stall. Common sense told him that this would be fairly more efficient then busting down the door.
The other mercs then heard him gasp as he leaned in closer to see the puddle. He was acting as if he were vision impaired or something along those lines.
“Hey, Hunk. I see ya struggling over there bro.”
Hunk frowned under his mask and shook his head swiftly. “Get back...there's something inside here and it doesn't have a reflec-”
However, before Hunk could finish the door of the stall was ripped from the hinges by a godly force. The impact sent the mercenary flying backward with the door of the stall in his arms.
“Shit!” He cursed, unable to quickly regain his composure with door on him. “What is it?”
His question was answered as a swarm of bats spawned from the small cubicle structure. The number of black bats almost smothering them as they flew at them in large clumps of flapping wings.
“I don't know, but they picked the wrong guys to fuck with!” one of the mercs shouted, proceeding to open fire on all flying apparitions.
His actions triggered a chain and the other three began to fire randomly as well.
The firing alerted the bats of where they were exactly and the shots they fired were avoided easily. Soon after each of them were surrounded and being picked at by the bats. Not only were the men moments shy of being eaten alive, but the fact that savages were so numerous in morale it seemed as if the chances of the mercs gaining control of the situation was very slim.
“There's too fucking many of them!” Hunk heard one of them shout and quickly pushed the door on him aside.
The door made a loud clank when it landed and attracted the bats from hell to Hunk's location.
“Shit!” he shouted only to hear static in his radio.
“Hunk, come in! What the hell is going on in there? Hunk!” Luke shouted.
Outside the Theater Yokosuka-Honcho, Tokyo
When Bobbie mentioned Takase, Kiba recalled seeing him briefly before Bobbie had enlightened him with his presence. Those freakish eyes that the director had as he ran by wouldn't easily be forgotten.
"Oh yeah that guy! There's something weird about him, his eyes were glowing. Do you know why?" Kiba responded.
Bobbie sighed as if relieved before a confident gaze was shown in his eyes.
“So I guess I wasn't the only one who saw, eh? At least now I know I passed on a ticket to see cleavage for a good reason!” Bobbie admitted and turned to see the commotion escalating from a block away from them. “Holy shit...that's a lot 'pigs'...the donuts must have crack in them...”
Bobbie then was able to make out a small trail being made through the crowd of people. When he saw this he turned to Kiba after recognizing that it was just guy they were looking for. “There he is, there he is!” he shouted.
Highway 20 Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo
Tomoko answered the phone and wasn't surprised to hear the Puppet Master's voice. His voice sounded malicious as he chuckled as if savoring the sound of her fear over the phone. He was enjoying this.
“Miss Sakue, I'm sure that you can comprehend why I have gone through the trouble of kidnapping someone entirely inferior such as yourself. Despite, how useless you were to me as a mindless slave, you play the part of the Damsel in Distress far better. That intrigues me and makes you a very valuable asset.”
“Oy, I'll never help a snake like you!”
“My, my, my aren't we defiant? I never did think any less of blondes, but now I see the rumors are true. I can crush you like an insect little girl...Whether or not you want to obey me is of no concern to me. You'll do exactly as your told.” The Puppet Master responded, going out of his way to diminish any sense of security that Tomoko might have even had.
Tomoko wanted to shout something back at him, but was unable to as she heard the dial tone of her phone. She had been about to put it away, but was prevented from doing so as it rang. It hadn't been the Puppet Master this time around. Her boss was calling her.
Tomoko hesitated, but the mimes made no effort to stop her from answering her phone.
“Hello...sir?” Tomoko asked almost more timid then usual.
She then instinctively held the phone away from her head as the person responded.“WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU?” he screeched.
Tomoko glanced past the mime at her left to see that they had pulled into the drive-thru of a Burger King in Shinjuku-ku. She then sweatdropped and glanced at the mimes who were licking their chops.
“Ex-excuse me...Mr. Kidnapper!” Tomoko directed at the Dark Magician. “Why are we at Burger King in Shinjuku-ku?”
Her boss seemed to overhear her state this.“Shinjuku-ku? Burger King! What the hell are you doing stuffing you face at a time like this?” he shouted in question.
The Dark Magician turned and grinned at her sickeningly. “Its Whopper Wedesday...” he stated as if it were a reasonable excuse.
“I've been kidnapped boss and I think the kidnappers are...hungry.” Tomoko explained into the phone.
“Kidnapped? I don't give a fuck! Get your ditzy ass down to Yokosuka-Honcho if you want to still be employeed tomorrow!” he shouted and hung up.
When her boss screeched that Tomoko flinched instinctively as if the words had hurt to hear. She loved her job. Taking pictures was her livelihood! She couldn't lose her job!
Fate initiated her cell phone to ring again. This time it wasn't a villain or her boss chewing her out. This time the voice belonged to a girl. A girl she knew all to well...
“Tomoko!”
“Kole...ummm...hi?”
“Heeeey, guess what, eh?”
“Hm?”
“I just so happen to be in Yokosuka-Honcho...and I would like to wish you luck in searching for a new line of employment.” Kole stated bitterly and hung up before Tomoko could even respond.
She was Tomoko's rival and despit being a pleasant person it was hard for Tomoko to hide the frown that was displayed on her face.
“Oy, she didn't just hang up on me!” Tomoko shouted.
The phone in her hand then poofed away as a wand tapped it. When she looked up she had seen that the Dark Magician was the one behind her phone's disappearance and she glanced at him with shock in her her cute gum drop eyes.
“Hey that's-” she tried to state, but he stuffed a whopper in her mouth.
His statement was simple and to the point.
“Shut. Up.”
She hastily spit out the whopper and grimaced as she ran her tongue across the confines of her mouth.
“Ew...pickles.” she mumbled.
Diner Tamaden, Tokyo
Ami gazed at Lance as he took a long drink from his coffee, downing half the mug in one shot before eating one of the pancakes, not even seeming to care or notice much in great detail. He then placed the mug down on the table, removed his glasses and set them down on the table. His knife and fork soon followed and he addressed Ami's proposition.
"Payment. I said there would be some for protecting you on that mission. Attend the training session tomorrow. Fore go all prior engagements and be there. That will be the payment, simply attend the training sessions. As for questions, I have none for you. I know your name, and I know you can't fight unless pushed. That is all I need to know."Lance responded.
'Just great...the ball thinks I'm useless and so does he!' Ami thought to herself with dismal.
“Now ask your three. No limits on the questions." His gaze flat, as if he was in his 'business as usual' mood.
Ami bit her lip in thought and while he waited for her questioning, he began to eat once more.
“Oh I know-” she stated, but was cut short as a news broadcast distracted her.
“A man confirmed as Theodore's Bagwell, a frequent sexual offender charged with hand robbery and murder has been spotted in a local Shinjuku-ku residential area. Be on the look out and be advised that he is possibly armed and dangerous. Recently tragedy took place when he sexually assaulted and murdered 17 year old Ami Ryousuke...”
As Ami heard this she looked down and away from Lance as the man in the diner turned up the volume. She didn't look as if she was comfortable being in there anymore. Her thoughts of attempting to figure out more on Lance were disappearing and being replaced of horrid images of that terrible night.
Convenience Store Takaido, Tokyo
Raito couldn't recall getting injured, but he thanked Theodore anyways for his concern. As soon as the lady left he paid for his coke and left the store with Theodore hot on his trail. He didn't seem to notice him though and took a sip of his soda. As he swallowed he remembered he had left his suitcase...outside!
“Shit” He said as he looked for it frantically.
It wasn't there anymore!
Theodore saw the man searching for something, but paid little attention to it. "Hey listen man, I don't wanna sound too intrusive, but can you tell me how to get to Shinjuku-ku? It's been a week since I arrived in Japan and I never got the chance to go there." T-Bag said smirk.
Inside of the store the cashier rubbed his chin in thought. He could have sworn he recognized Theodore's face from somewhere, but he wasn't sure where.
“Darn, maybe he was a celebrity or something...” The man mused not noticing the rack of newspapers displaying his sketched face and the headline of the girl who was raped and killed last night.
Outside the Gantz Apartment Takaido, Tokyo
Anthony turned his head to face whoever was behind him and saw the saw the face of Mako who was probably a couple of years younger than him. He recognized her from Gantz' apartment but didn't know her name and watched as she blew out smoke from her mouth.
It was then that he noticed the sword she wielded and held to his back. Instinctively, he stood up, and swung around to face her. She smirked innocently at him and he took several spaces back.
'What the fuck are you doing?!' he demanded, eyes wide with shock.
Anthony continued to step slowly backwards, drawing out his x-gun and pointing it at her, holding it steady in both hands. He didn't really intend to shoot the girl, not yet anyway, not unless he could help it, but merely threaten her with the gun. Why was she trying to kill him anyway? He could only come to the conclusion that she was insane if anything. Maybe she'd get too high before starting a fight to be much of a threat. Somehow he didn't think so; she was carrying a sword, that was bad enough.
Though, there was no explanation and with his lighter and her katana in hand she changed frequencies so that Anthony could see her no more...
Meanwhile, Zerojii felt rage well up inside of him. The puppet master was invading his mind once again, and Zerojii was not at all thrilled about it.
Zerojii never ceased to amuse the Puppet Master. Cackling could be heard throughout his head before it ceased and the one known as the Puppet Master responded. “Perhaps, with your death it is possible to atone for that remark! No...I want you to suffer...to grovel at my feet and beg for your lord and master to show you mercy! Despise it if you must, but you...Mr. Kenpachi are my link...to...perfection...”
Whatever that meant.
Zerojii popped his y-gun and katana out of their holsters simultaneously. He aimed his y-gun at Mako and pulled the x-ray trigger, looking through it. He pulled both triggers and sent the cables firing a shot past Anthony and ensnaring her with ease and only allowing movement below the elbow with her right and left hands. Almost as if it were too easy as she smirked at him almost as she were taunting him.
Zerojii moved in closer, as he came in for the knockout the girl flipped the script as the lighter bursted wetting her hand with lighter fluid. She then began to cackle soundlessly as a flame erupted from her hands and hit Zerojii with full force. If he hadn't had his suit on he would have been cooked alive as he flew back into the street. The fire burned like hell, but Zerojii probably had experienced worse.
Before he was able to land he was hit by a fish truck that knocked him into a nearby fire hydrant across the street. He should have been unconscious, but he was only dazed as water pelted down on his face from the severed plumbing.
When his vision returned he'd notice that the girl Mako was nowhere to be found and a man had been looking down at him. He looked worried and it was justified. The man was speeding and had quickly sobered up after hitting him with his truck.
“Hoooolyy shiit! D-don't move I'm going to call an ambulance!” The man informed him making sure to toss away his bottle of whiskey that shattered next to a broken PDA of some sort.
Across the street Anthony had witnessed the accident, but he didn't see who was hit until Zerojii appeared out of nowhere and flew into the fire hydrant. It looked sick, but he didn't have time to gander as a red-headed girl ran into him and knocked him over. She obviously wasn't looking where the hell she was going and was clutching her head as she looked around her seeing the car accident. If Anthony looked closely he could see she was very attractive.
Gantz Room Takaido, Tokyo
Montezno sat on the railing on the balcony of the Gantz Apartment. He was smoking a cigarette with Jomo to his right looking up at him and concerned as he absent-mindely watched a bird soar back and forth through the sky. His eyes never left that particular bird as he gazed on at it as if it held a subliminal meaning.
“Why didn't ya tell me?” he stated without emotion, breaking the silence.
His hand raised the smoke to his mouth again as he inhaled once more.
“Didn't I have the right to know, Jomo you knew more then anyone how I felt about her...what kind of shit is that, eh?” he asked.
Jomo looked down. Montezno knew she couldn't speak verbally, but a sign of any remorse would have been appreciated, but she did nothing, but sit there quietly as if she had nothing to say.
“I'm headin' home. Don't botha showing up tonight either...I'm headin' out solo.”
Jomo turned away sharply as she watched him hop off of the building and land with ease. Shedidn't see what direction he went, but neither did she care.
Why was it so hard for Montezno to see that she wanted to tell him, but there was no easy way to break it to him. Not even she wanted to see Dominique in that state, even if they were rivals.

Theodore saw the man searching for something, but paid little attention to it. "Hey listen man, I don't wanna sound too intrusive, but can you tell me how to get to Shinjuku-ku? It's been a week since I arrived in Japan and I never got the chance to go there." T-Bag said smirk.
''No, no, no.'' He kept thinkinh to himself.
Suddenly that voice returned. The calm and friendly voice which sent chills down his spine again. Raito knew he was lying, years for investigation had made a sixth sense. The thing that bothered him was that he could hear that he was lying, Raito just knew. He lied without emotion. A psychopath or genius are supposed to be the only ones that are even capable of doing that. Suddenly something snapped. The events of the hunt, his wife, the disappearing of his suitcase and now this man all became too much for him. Raito turned around and grabbed the man by his collar.
''Who, are you and what do you want'' he said grinding his teeth.
Through the window of the store his eyes fell on the rack of newpapers only briefly but long enough for him to read what it said. Then Raito remembered he was in the first place still a cop. No matter what the situation he had to perform his duty and he had an edge: he was undercover. Raito's face softened and slowly let loose of the man's collar.
''I, I'm sorry'' he said looking away and sighing.''It's been a tough night... I can take you to Shinjuku-ku.''
A/N: Jeez I really doubt you'd be able to see the newspapers outside so conveniently. I know T-bag is a bad guy, but at least try not to read my post in a area ur not in and try to take advantage of something you aren't aware of. If you could see the news papers I'd let you know.
OOC: couldn't help it lol.

Before his very eyes Anthony saw the girl disappear in a spark of electricity. A deeper fear struck him now, the knowledge that his enemy could strike him dead at any moment and he wouldn't even know it. Almost immediately he looked down at the floor where she had been standing. If she was invisible the only way to tell where she was was by looking for signs of her prescence on other things - a footprint, the sound of her steps, anything. 'The suit! The suit has to protect me!' he thought desperately.
Suddenly the sound of a punch connecting was heard from in front of him, making him jump. Then the screeching breaks of a truck, a crash, and in mid-air there appeared another of his fellow Gantzers. Anthony didn't know this guy's name either but recognised him as the guy who had been talking about the Puppet Master back in the room. He slammed into a fire hydrant sending water everywhere.
It looked sick, but he didn't have time to gander as a red-headed girl ran into him and knocked him over. She obviously wasn't looking where the hell she was going and was clutching her head as she looked around her seeing the car accident. For a moment he thought it must be the girl from the room attacking. Upon looking closer he saw that it was a different girl entirely. She had red hair (Anthony's favourite!) and was very attractive. Right or wrong, his instincts told him that she wasn't a threat.
His thoughts returned to the girl with the sword. He had to get away from her. The truck! If they could get to it they might be able to escape, or at least use it for cover. Jumping to his feet he grabbed the girl by the wrist and pulled her up. With the girl's wrist in one hand and his x-gun in the other he began running for the truck. 'Can you drive?!' he yelled at her, forgetting that unless she spoke English, she wouldn't know what he was saying.
Anthony wasn't sure what why he was taking the girl with him, probably some ulterior motive involving a reward from this hot girl for saving her; his motives were certainly not entirely chivalrous. 'Hey dude, are you alright!' he shouted at the body of Zerojii beside the fire hydrant as he continued running. 'We gotta get away from that crazy girl!'

Lance watched Ami's reaction to the news. Lance's natural reaction was to begin reorganising his plans, and coming up with several new ones. And he quickly began to check them against his pre-existing plans and finally chose, what he believed to be the correct course of action.
"Old man, shut that damn box up. You're upsetting my cousin." Lance yelled at the diner manager, mixing well practised illusions of concern in his tone. Lance then shifted his gaze straight back to Ami.
"Remember what I said, to those dependant on emotion, use the pain others have given you and extract it back on those who would wish you dead. But, do not worry about the animal, come tomorrow, I will have him in my pocket, or one of us will be dead, permamently." Lance said in a darker, even tone, revealing some of his plotting side to her. "And the final order of business, since you are now officially marked dead, then you will lack a location to stay at from now on. I did make a promise to you, but now that I'm unable to uphold it, then the alternative is this, I have a hotel room, you take the bed, I'll take the couch. Don't argue. It's the best course of action for now, tomorrow we'll work out what to do properly." Lance stated, in a bit of a softer tone. He then took another drink of his coffee, downing the last of it as he waited for a response from Ami.

Outside the Convenience Store Takaido, Tokyo
Theodore's calm and friendly voice sent chills down Raito's spine. Raito knew he was lying, years of experience from investigations had given him a sixth sense toward it. The thing that bothered him was that he could hear that he was lying, Raito just knew. He lied without emotion. A psychopath or a genius were the only ones even capable of doing that.
Suddenly, he remembered. The events of the hunt, his wife, the disappearing of his suitcase and now this man all became too much for him. Raito turned around and grabbed a hold of the man by his collar.
“Who are you and what do you want?” he demanded whilst grinding his teeth.
Theodore had been speechless. Almost as if he were caught off guard by the detective's actions. Before he needed to react in self-defense he would notice that Raito's expression softened and he slowly let loose of his collar.
''I, I'm sorry.'' he said looking away and sighing.''I had a rough night... I can take you to Shinjuku-ku.''
If memory served there had to have been a Subway at least a block or two away from where they currently were...
Theater Yokosuka-Honcho, Tokyo
He felt sick and didn't know why. His arms and legs were bound and yet again he didn't know why. All he knew...No all Hunk knew was that whatever they were after in here wasn't or was no longer human.
He glanced at his bound arms. Unknown dark matter in appendage form had wrapped around each of his limbs and prevented him from escaping as he dangled in mid-air. He was helpless and when he looked around him he noticed he was no longer in the restroom.
How had he gotten inside the theater?
“Hunk! Answer me goddammit!” he heard someone shout in his headpiece. It was Luke and despite sounding concerned he still sounded like the bastard that he truly was.
“I'm up...I'm up...” He moaned feeling as if he were about to vomit.
“What happened? And where are the others at? Their not responding.”
Hunk groaned as he tried to remember the 'others' that Luke had referred to. There never was anyone else he always ended up coming back alone. Whether it was by fate, luck, or skill alone; history repeated itself more then once and again on this day.
He recalled being in the rest room at the time when whatever happened took place. There were birds and they were ambushed in a matter of moments. He witnessed his unit be eaten alive and listened on as they screamed blood curdling cries of pain. It all happened so quickly and it was obvious that they weren't properly prepared for the demons that they were facing.
Hunk was left to himself with the weight of the stall door crushing his legs. After fumbling in the dark for a method to lift it off of him he made short work of his burden and tossed it aside. The movement of the door made a loud clank and alerted the flying demons.
“Shit.” He cursed, knowing full well that he didn't have long to live. “What the hell are they?”
He rolled off to the right and his hand brushed against his TMP with a flashlight attached at the top. He grasped it and was glad he was being reunited with it once again. Soon after his instincts told him to fire at will at all that had been flying around him, but that's exactly what the others had done; and the others where no longer alive he presumed.
Hunk instead, shined his flashlight on the winged apparitions. As the hue of the light hit them they scattered away from it in fear.
“Were those bats...?” Hunk asked as if baffled, before his stupor was replaced with a confident arrogant smirk. “So I take it ya fuckers don't like that much...”
Hunk spotted a weakness and his new objective was to expose it. And he did just that by retrieving a flash grenade from somewhere on his person. He then raised his TMP and shined his light on the bats to give him some time for movement. Only when it was safe did he lower his gun, pull the pin from the grenade, and chuck it at the already advancing bats.
“ Kreeeeleeeaaaahhhhh!” They screeched as they scattered around from the blinding light that emitted from the grenade.
Before long the bats diminished into nothingness and left Hunk to give a long sigh of relief.
However, he then heard the wings of a single bat. He didn't know where it had been and caused him to experience a feeling of paranoia. It wasn't over yet until he took care of each and every one of those mother fuckers and sent them back to hell or wherever they came from.
“Where are you...” Hunk muttered under his breath.
He soon regretted speaking afterward as he shined his light on the wing of a bat that screeched in his face. The bat scared the hell out of him and caused him to pull the trigger of his TMP and drop it as it dove in to bite his neck. He found himself stumbling backward and into a wall. Luckily enough, on that wall was a switch that illuminated the bathroom in light.
As the light shined on the bat it screeched and disintegrated in front of him. Thus, leaving Hunk in a cold panicked sweat under his gas mask and combat gear.
“Ha...ahh...shit.” He exhaled sharply before standing and taking in his surroundings.
Everyone...his comrades...his unit was dead.
He grimaced at the sight, covering his gas mask with back of his forearm and then heard the sound of a girl crying. Her voice had been echoing around the restroom and Hunk suspected that it was probably another civilian that was left inside. There just happened to be no sign of her...anywhere.
“If ya can here me...follow the sound of my voice. I'm with the good guys...your safe with me.” He reassured her.
The girl continued to cry and gave no response to his words. Maybe, she couldn't hear him.
“Hey, can you hear me?” Hunk called out once again, but the only response he received was the sound of bats once again as the light began to flicker as if it were about to shut off.
“Not this shit again...” He spat as he quickly reached for his gun that lay on the floor beside his feet.
His outstretched hand was intercepted by a black tentacle-like appendage that grasped him by the wrist. Try as he did to pull away his strength was no match for the tendril. He found himself being tugged toward a darkened hole as more tentacles seized his legs and torso.
“Get...off me!” He shouted as he pulled out a flash grenade, poising to smother into the void he was being pulled into.
That had to be all he could really remember as of now...Why was he still alive and what was going to become of him?
Outside the Theater Yokosuka-Honcho, Tokyo
Wesker hadn't moved an inch from where he stood. His gloved hands were entwined behind his back and his gaze locked on the Theater that stood in front of him. The target's recovery had been taking longer then usual and even with his sun glasses on not once did his eyes twitch as if he were growing impatient.
His stone like stature was momentarily broken as his cell phone rang. He answered it swiftly, checking the Caller ID to see who it was and then repositioning his gaze on the building in front of him.
“William...Good afternoon.” he greeted warmly.
“Annette Birkin on the contrary...” She corrected quickly. “A good afternoon to you as well Albert, nonetheless.”
The smirk on Wesker's broadened at the sound of her voice. “Charmed...and how is Sherry? If memory serves didn't she celebrate a birthday not long ago?”
“Oh...she did, but allow me to cut to the chase about why I called...”
“If William put you up to this then tell him he can rest assured, everything here is all running according to plan.”
“Right...that's good! But, that wasn't why I called to be honest.”
“I see...”
“A message was given to you today. It was given to the receptionist. Normally, I would have waited until you arrived back at the lab, but the message seems rather urgent. To be honest it has me rather on edge as of late.”
“and...the message?” Wesker prompted with a twinge of urgency in his voice.
“She complimented a 'new product' of ours...stating that she'd like you to call her when we'd like her to return it.”
Wesker's smirk faded and his mouth became a thin line as he paused before answering. “Did she happen to mention the name of 'the product'?”
“No...but, she was generous enough to leave a name...”
“Her name...?”
Annette could be heard rustling through a stack of papers of some-sort before answering.“Correct me if I'm wrong, but it was of a Chinese descent. You are acquainted with a Ms. Wong, I presume?”
“Has William heard about this?”
“No...or at least I haven't spoken to him yet about it. He's been locked up in the lab as usual not even allowing me to work along with him. He seems too pre-occupied with his work so I didn't bother mentioning it to him...”
“Don't...by all means...comfort him. I'll look into and handle this when I arrive back at the facilities.” Wesker replied.
They then voiced their farewells and he hung up and put away his cell. Though, before he could concentrate back on the Theater he noticed someone approaching him with a broad smile on his face. Wesker didn't glance twice at the man and looked toward his agents who quickly approached the man who somehow made it past the barricade.
That man was Takase Niito and his eyes had strangely returned to normal at the most convenient of times. Despite his running, his suit appeared as good as new and his dazzling smile told you that he was more important than you would at first expect.
“Civilians aren't permitted to cross the barricade...” An agent reminded him as he attempted to grab him.
The attempt failed whilst Takase easily shifted to the side and grabbed the the outstretched arm of the agent. He then smiled briefly before judo flipping him onto his rear end. When another came to his aid with a gun Takase turned sharply and and chopped the man in the neck in a fluid motion.
The man coughed vigorously and Takase caught him and pried the gun he carried from his hands. He then emptied the clip and tossed the gun off to the side.
Wesker's stone gaze remained as this all transpired. Takase had made short work of two of his agents and more were heading toward the man. It was beginning to become embarrassing and Wesker decided to end the charade now would be in his best interest. He wasn't very fond of seeing his men easily defeated at all.
“Enough! Let him through....” Wesker ordered gesturing the wall of agents that were in front of him to stand aside.
Takase chuckled, adjusted his tie and showed off that he had hardly broken a sweat. “Nice guys you got there...friends of yours?”
“They work for Umbrella...I don't pay them out of generosity, if that's what you mean...”
Wesker didn't know what Takase wanted, but he was testing his patience.
“Takase, Takase Niito is my name and I don't think our paths have crossed yet, unfortunately.” Takase stated whilst holding out his hand as if ushering to shake the man's hand.
Wesker glanced and grimaced at the gesture. He then met his gaze with the Director once more. “Enlighten me on just why in the hell you are here...I'll give you 10....as a matter of fact 5 seconds to explain yourself.”
“Destiny, my friend...destiny is what has made our paths align.”
Wesker arched an eyebrow as if the man in front him was delusional. “and who or what gave you that insinuation? Does this 'destiny' have a name?”
“Yes, as a matter of fact it does. My master and I would like to refer to it as...the destruction of Gantz.” Takase stated with a smirk with it widening as Wesker's stepped backward in shock.
A Block Away From the Theater Yokosuka-Honcho, Tokyo
“Huh, you see him? Where?” Kiba asked Bobbie after hearing him shout that he'd seen the suspicious Gantzer.
Even as Kiba stood on his tippy-toes he still couldn't match Bobbie's hawk like vision.
“Wait...I lost him...no he's talking to someone...” Bobbie continued on. “Maybe we can sneak past that barricade...” he stated in thought, before looking at Kiba who had been captivated by a butterfly that was flying around his head.
“Puuurty...” Kiba whispered in awe.
“Hey, Earth to Cave-boy...Snap the hell out of la-la-land, will ya? Yeah...its me...Bobbie! Let's Go!”
Mall Shibuya, Tokyo
A girl in a cosplay outfit had been talking to herself as she pulled random men's clothing off the racks. It was Mako and she looked as if she were nervous and way, way too suspicious.
“Can I...uh...help you or sumthin'?” an employee asked.
“No were-er I mean I'm fine...t-thank you!” was her reply.
“Whatever...” Mako heard the guy say as he went to tend to another customer.
Mako then turned to Shin who had been stuffing men and female clothes inside of a nearby dressing room.
“Are you sure no one will see you?” Mako asked Shin as she bit her nails nervously.
He sighed before responding,“For christ's sake...NO Mako...they won't! There's just a crazy girl in a store talking to herself...at least...that's what they think.”
Shin pointed to the crowd of people in the clothing store that were giving her weird glances. He then noticed she had been biting her nails and bopped her lightly on the head with his palm. “Stop that...” Shin then turned and ran his hand along another outfit, causing it to vanish out of human eyes, before tossing it inside the dressing room.
“Ow...” Mako stated as she flinched.
She glanced back up at Shin taken away with how easily he was stealing clothes. The fact that he could change the frequency of whatever he wanted to touch at will was remarkable. “Are you sure you haven't done this before?”
Shin turned toward her and shrugged.“Okay I lied. A guy has to eat right?...Besides...I don't understand how this relates to friendship at all. I liked being naked...”
“Well I don't and you better make sure your getting the right sizes...” Mako stated, before continuing. “Since were friends we need to work together. I help you and you help me...at least until this twin stuff is sorted out.”
He laughed before speaking, “I expected you to take this a lot harder...your worse then me already...and Mako, I think I'm a bad influence on you.” Shin gave her a final look of disapproval and tossed the last load of clothes into the dressing room.
“Oh hush...”the ex-cheerleader replied while following him into the dressing room.
She watched as Shin closed his eyes and concentrated on a destination. He told her he could teleport to any place he wanted to as long as he's been there and thought long and hard about it. He had also mentioned to her on the way to the mall that he lived in an abandoned warehouse somewhere. She was curious as to what his home looked like and couldn't help but feel anxious as they prepared to to drop off a shit load of stolen clothes.
“I don't know why...but I could get use to this lifestyle. Living like a rebel...free from laws and rules!” Mako whispered excitedly.
“Mmm-hmm...” Shin muttered in concentration.
Mako smiled at him brought her thumb to her chin in thought. “We'll have to stock up on feminine necessities too...oh and food!”
“Mmm-hmm...huh?” Shin responded breaking his concentration to give her another of his puzzled looks.
Outside the Gantz Apartment Takaido, Tokyo
Anthony took a moment to gawk at the red-head, until she glanced at him with a fire in her eyes. She then glanced behind her to see if anyone was still following her. It looked as if she was safe for now at least.
However, when Anthony jumped to his feet he had an expression on his face that told her otherwise. Not only that but she was even more caught off guard when he grabbed her by the wrist and pulled her to her feet.
He glanced at the truck and shouted in question. “Can you drive?!” He sounded urgent and that showed from the tone of his voice
She on the other hand couldn't peer her eyes away from the accident in front of her.
“Can you drive?!” He asked her once again regaining her attention.
She immediately recognized the language as English, but didn't know much of it.“Drive? Yes!” She answered back to him in English. She was actually grateful that she could understand him to some extent.
She took no time in hurrying over to the truck with the cracked window shield. Once inside she opened the door for Anthony Hastings to get in and started the car and switched it into drive. Once inside Anthony was jerked forward as her foot hit the gas.
He had wanted her drive, but DAMN!
As they turned the corner the red-headed girl glanced over at him with a concentrated expression on her face. “My name...Makoto Setsumi...” she stated, introducing herself and nodding to him as if gesturing to know his name as well.
Meanwhile...
The drunk fish truck driver was left to stare off as his truck was stolen. He had only taken his eyes off of it for a moment and as if the cost for the accident damages weren't enough! He'd now have to pay for the whole damn truck!
“Stop, thieves!!!” The man screeched and fell to his knees, looking almost as if he were cursing the heavens.
Behind him a motorcycle screeched to a halt beside Zerojii. On it had been a feminine biker who glanced down at Zerojii in interest. Not only was this guy wearing the same suit she held in her hands, but he had the same weaponry and he was pretty familiar.
“Zerojii...? Zerojii Kenpachi?” The woman asked as if in disbelief.
Diner Tamaden, Tokyo
Lance watched Ami's reaction to the news and appeared to be immediately angered by it. "Old man, shut that damn box up. You're upsetting my cousin." Lance yelled at the manager, sounding almost as if he were concerned.
“Sheesh, sorry about that pal.” The manager replied and proceeded to turn down the volume.
When he shifted his gaze back to Ami she smiled weakly at him."Remember what I said, to those Dependant on emotion, use the pain others have given you and extract it back on those who would wish you dead. But, do not worry about the animal, come tomorrow, I will have him in my pocket, or one of us will be dead, permanently." Lance said in a darker, even tone, revealing some of his plotting side to her.
This caused her to look at him with disapproval, almost as if she despised the fact that there was a chance that Theodore could harm him. “Lance...” she tried to say, but Lance moved onto a different subject.
However, close to their table had been a waiter by the name of Scott Rhymer. He had been cleaning a table and absent-mindlessly paying attention to the news up until a customer asked his manager to turn down the volume. He couldn't help, but stare at the odd pair who were eating pancakes.
Though, what was so odd about them was that the girl looked similar to the girl whom was mentioned on the news. That had to be impossible...right? Maybe it was just a coincidence, but that didn't stop him from giving them their privacy. He was only a table or two away and he was vaguely close enough to hear what they were saying.
"And the final order of business, since you are now officially marked dead, then you will lack a location to stay at from now on. I did make a promise to you, but now that I'm unable to uphold it, then the alternative is this, I have a hotel room, you take the bed, I'll take the couch. Don't argue. It's the best course of action for now, tomorrow we'll work out what to do properly." Lance suggested and then finished off the last of his coffee.
“Alright I won't, but I don't want anything happening to you, because of me. I'm not a damsel in distress, okay! So when the time comes hopefully I can prove that to you...” Ami replied trying her best not to allow the tears at the bridge of her eyes to fall.

"You can prove that by following my instructions a bit more then last time when we're in deployment." Lance responded, refering to how Ami refused to shoot his hand when he told her to. Lance then began to finish his pancakes, preparing to leave soon. Lance also placed his glasses back onto his face, and waited for Ami to finish her meal.
"We leave soon." Lance finished saying, as he stared at Ami from behind his glasses.

As they turned the corner the red-headed girl glanced over at him with a concentrated expression on her face. 'My name...Makoto Setsumi...' she stated, introducing herself and nodding to him as if gesturing to know his name as well.
'Anthony Hastings,' he replied, looking at her. 'You sure as hell can drive. Thanks for getting us out of there.' The tone in his voice sounded appreciative, but he hadn't yet realised that the girl couldn't completely understand English. Buckling up, he sat back and looked again at the girl. He hadn't really expected the girl to help him. Afterall, he had given her no explanation as to why he needed to steal the truck, and not many teenage girls could have broken into it and drive like this.
For a moment his mind flitted back to the body of the other Gantzer still lying on the floor, but he didn't have time to be worry about him now. Hopefully the suit would protect him. Anthony had also got the impression from him that he was a guy that could take care of himself.
'So, er...' he began speaking to Makoto. He didn't really know what to say. It wasn't like he could give a reasonalbe explanation for his odd actions, he was just grateful she'd gone along with them. 'You live round here... you a student or something?' It sounded rather unsatisfactory considering their circumstances.
