Here I have compiled my Project's rules, its map and its mechanics. My rules are meant for my Project rather then what you might see in the forum rules and mechanics for the projects in general. So take the time to read this because this will fill you in on how I mod and what you should expect from as your mod.

The Administrator
- This means that I'm a busy guy and modding isn't the only thing I'm doing. Consider modding as what I do part time.
- If I'm busy w/ my Admistrative duties, expect me to finish them before updating.
- If you do something wrong in my roleplay that doesn't mean I'll ban you on the spot just because I'm an Admin.
Modding Experience
- Comedy Gantz.
- Project Eastern.
Things You Should Know About Me As Your Mod
- My updates are big...
- I update once or twice a week depending on how busy I am with life and the site.
- I draw my own aliens... ;D
- I make pretty good maps.
- I'm a big advocate on character development and I ensure to make my npcs and plot as deep possible!
- If you ask a stupid question, I'll give you a stupid answer.
- If I don't know the answer, I'll ask you one in return.
Ex: "How do you expect me to know this?" - I listen to people, and if you want to discuss your character I'll talk to you about it whenever I'm on.
Metropolis Rules
Posting
- You can only have one move per response to my update! If your caught posting multiple moves in more then one post you will be punished and your post will be edited along with the surplus of moves being considered nonexistent.
- For the most part, whoever posts first acts first. This means that if you post an action, everyone that posts afterwards should assume their actions take place slightly after yours.
- Don't God-Mod. I shouldn't have to explain this.
- Don't use information that's unavailable to you.
Ex. Seeing on my map in OOC that an NPC or Roleplayer is upstairs. Then despite not knowing this in IC you attempt to go out of your way to go upstairs to interact with them. You then witness that npc or roleplayer die in OOC and lose any ambition to go up there at all. Do NOT do this; it pisses me off. - I control your surroundings and introduce to you everything that your able to interact with. I also tell you everything you hear, see, taste and smell! If I haven't mentioned it, your character is oblivious to it, so don't you dare roleplay like that isn't the case.
Ex. One character could see someone approach them and you could be standing RIGHT next to them, but I didn't mention you seeing that person. So you should see that person too, right? WRONG! That person they see could be a hallucination for all you know, so don't be so quick to assume shit! - Do not share your controller passwords w/ anyone. If I discover that passwords are being shared I will no longer allow use of controllers in my project!
- Don't go out of your way to try and help the mod see your post with fancy colors and shit. Just post, because when you may think your helping me, your only annoying the fuck out of me. Keep your font in the default style with the default forum text color.
- Unless your an admin, (in which I highly doubt) and your not participating in Metropolis, DO NOT POST...anywhere...in my project.
Activity
- If your going to be inactive for an extended period of time, inform me AHEAD OF TIME. However, if its over a month's period of time regardless of whether or not you tell me your character is dead. Accept it now so its easier on yourself later on.
- If I'm informed that you'll be inactive ahead of time I'll keep your character alive, and I will even take control of them for you.
- If one post is missed my next update will either be you becoming injured (if near or in battle) or dead if two posts are missed. Depending on the course of the battle or situation you may be in will determine the punishment.
- If your not a frequent poster, but you post when it counts, expect to be dragged along with Metropolis' plot rather then being a part of it. If you're not interested why should I force you to be? You're the one wasting your own time in the end.
Metropolis the Roleplay
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Its easy to catch onto. If your new to the site stay active so you can learn here. It doesn't take long, trust me.
- I update the map practically every time I update.
- Everyone is included...even if I hate you.
- I'm unbiased so its equal opportunity.
- If you feel that you have been mistreated I'll allow you to appeal until it is settled and everyone agrees on something.
- If you don't like my initial plot, fine. Make your own and I'll incorporate it into mine.
- NPCs will not take over this project. They have their own separate agendas!
- My Gantz likes to see interesting shit happen during missions. If you entertain Gant she will reward you by giving you up to 10 bonus pts per mission depending on whatever it was that you did to amuse or catch her interest.
Cons
- If you don't like your character you won't enjoy Rping here, period.
- If you don't like reading or have vague knowledge of some big words you also will not like Rping here.
- If you don't read an entire update you will miss out on a lot.
Ex: I tend to be an ass and post peoples' character updates more then once to see if their paying attention. It's because I want people to read my entire update and if you fall prey to this random thing its not my fault. You were warned... - If you don't interact with anyone at all (even staring is interaction) you won't get far, because interaction should be unavoidable in Gantz, imo.
- If you leave your suit anywhere, its gone! However, you can attempt to recover it! Destroyed suits will be replaced.
- This Project is more based off of the Gantz anime in all its entirety except for plot. For some that may be unfortunate, because I hear its not liked. Oh well.
- Sometimes Gantzers are killed just because of their actions or just because....well, its Gantz and I'm the mod. ;D
- Gantzers do not get suits their first mission. Gantz here is more realistic and you must first show your worth by surviving a mission and getting at least 25 points before a suit is given. If you don't like it, OH WELL!
- My Gantz tends to hate people who piss him/her off and waste her time when you do absolutely nothing the entire mission. If that's the case he/she will deduct up to 10 points for everything your character did that pissed her off!
Metropolis' Mechanics
Basic Overview
- Gantzers do not get suits their first mission. Gantz here is more realistic and you must first show your worth by surviving a mission and getting at least 25 points before a suit is given. If you don't like it, OH WELL!
- There are 4 Controllers in the Gantz Room (possibly more depending on how large the team). The only catch is that they can only be found in select Gantzers' suitcases! I will inform you whether or not one of those complimentary controllers is in your suitcase. If you miss out on this, here's an alternate method of obtaining one. In addition to the amount the amount in the Gantz Room there are also two spare controllers inside the monobike room, located on top of a shelf near the mono-bikes and gantz katana. Controllers are portable and light in weight; they can be strapped to your wrist for convenience via wristband.
- Controllers are needed to see everything in briefings and I mean everything that pertains to your character unless you're a vampire or psychic! This includes the progress of the hunt, briefings from gantz, where you are, where everyone else is and and the aliens. If you don't have a controller you will only see the main map and your character will not appear on it.
- Green dots and red dots are the only thing able to be seen on the controllers.
- The Gantz suit protects you physically to some exstent, but you still feel pain mentally.
- If you don't have a suit on you are susceptible to being seen by the human eye. (gantz only makes people wearing suits appear invisible to the naked eye) Sometimes if spotted by humans during a mission, your head will explode.
- Gantz's gender is subject to change.
- Everyone is auto translated by Gantz to understand each other. (even animals)
- Roleplay with an open mind, because in my Project Gantz is always being manipulated and changed like in the end of the Anime.
Interesting Notes & Tips 4 Roleplay
- Interacting w/ my NPCs is encouraged, but they can either make or break you. You'll need to be smart about who you interact w/ and at what time.
Ex. Kbell's character in the past ended up falling in love w/ one of my npcs and that resulted in him taking risks and ending up becoming the main target for my Project's antagonists. - All of your posts should be based on how your character perceives things and reacts to them. You yourself should not be influencing your character in the roleplay.
- When entering the Gantz Room, don't always shout out what everyone else is asking. If someone right next to you is confused about your whereabouts, what makes you think asking the same question will result to anything? Go find out or BE ORIGINAL and ask them something they do know!
Ex. Try asking "Who are you?", "Where are you from?" or "How long have you been here?" - My NPCs are meant to hinder your progress as well as aid it. They're there to make roleplay immersive so don't be surprised to see me use them to prevent you from completing an action in your post, such as getting equipment or successfully killing a target.
- I'll also take the liberty of determining whether or not any action take place, no matter how small it is. So, try to limit your actions, so that you won't have to retype failed actions.
Ex. You try to put on a suit and grab your controller, but someone bumps into you and you drop your suit and someone steals your controller!
