Okay, where to begin? Ummm...
This is the life outside of Gantz for Project Metropolis that picks up immediately after Hunts and always before hunts. All who survived that previous Hunt and who will take part in the next one are able to RP out their lives along with my NPCs.
These LOGs will summarize the previous Hunt as well as build up for the next one. To explain in simpler terms, Life in the City of Metropolis is this Project's plot and your Gantzer's are encouraged to be included!
When shit goes down outside of hunts this is the place where it happens!
Wait a minute...Did I say, "those who will participate in the next hunt will be allowed to participate?"
Yup, you bet. No longer will new members have to wait until our LOG is finished in order to participate in a Hunt. If you have a character that needs to die before coming to Project Metropolis you are allowed to rp out your death here as well.
However, keep in mind that I must first accept your character from character creation in order for you to join in. I will then most likely PM you and discuss the terms of your death.
I choose to discuss the terms of your character's death with you, because in order to include you, changes might have to take place. These changes could alter where you were at the time of death, what time it was, how you died, who killed you and who witnessed it.
Maybe if your character's death is performed well enough it may even effect my plot or a fellow npc or Gantzer might witness it happen!
New! The City has a map, refer to it here when participating in this LOG!
Sound good? Well read on, because here comes the damn rules and regulations...*run away*
Rules & Regulations
1: Stay active if your participating...I hate babysitting peoples characters...
2:The Same rules and mechanics go for regular rp, that means no god-modding and keep your actions reasonable.
3: There's a possibility that harm could come to your character in life outside of gantz. Whether for storyline purposes or the concept that you decided to participate and stayed inactive without telling me or something. I strive to keep deaths in life outside of gantz to a minimum but, they will happen! Hopefully more to npcs than actual people role-playing.
4: Use OOC: for out of character posts and IC: when returning to in character posts. Meaning if you have some shit that your character isn't saying or doing. That's how you should format it before hopping back into your post. OR, avoid this all by just posting your OOC thoughts in the LOG OOC thread for that respective LOG.
5: Do not post more than one action an update. Dialog can continue on for 3 posts per person per update.
6: If I accepted I will then discuss the details of your death and will inform you of when your character will die and at what point of the LOG you can participate. You will not be allowed to decide the outcome of your character and my post will kill them.
7: My LOG will usually be arranged in separate parts where I'll allow a few instances of roleplay before ending that day or scene. The rpers will have no control of when their day ends so be active and ready for this.
8: You cannot create NPCs in my LOG and neither can you god mod them. If you would like a specific NPC for your character to interact w/ you must contact me and I will make and control them.
9: Deaths in LOG can span out to be a week long process in game time. So if everyone's dying, don't panic, because yours may just happen later than everyone else's.
10: 1st Time LOG Participants must stay active, because if I kill you too early and you die over a week earlier than everyone else, you will miss out on being able to participate in Project Metroplis w/ that character any further.
11: Do not Post in LOG if I don't mention your character in my update. Sometimes a character's LOG may be very short compared to everyone else's so I may need to put some rper's LOG's on pause until I'm able to catch them up. There's nothing I can do about this and I know it sucks.
12: Once I kill your character you are not allowed to post anymore for the remainder of that LOG. The only thing that can be held in exempt is your character's mental reaction to their own death.
Ex. Their life flashes before their eyes...etc etc...
Don't let these ground rules scare you away, because this should be a fun and new role-playing experience for all of us. As for role-players who are new and are planning on role-playing out their death, use this as training to get use to my modding style!
