Age:34
Gender: M
Sexual Preference: F
Race (Nationality): Black (English)
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 190 lbs
Hair Color: Black

Career: Oliver does not hold a steady career, but finds work where he can. For the most part, however, he works as a mechanic in whatever auto shop needs help. He loves his work, and never asks for more money than can buy him food for a week. Sometimes he even works for free, just happy to help someone out. All of his work is done in the City, close to “home.”
Education: Mostly self-taught
Inventory: Oliver has a 4’ lead pipe with a 30° bend about ¾ of the way along its length. He is gripping the longer section of it.
One Strength: Oliver is not afraid to get his hands dirty, literally and figuratively. He’s had to live in his fair share of unclean environments, and won’t stop what he’s doing just because things are getting messy. But more importantly, this also means that when Oliver sees what needs to be done, he takes the initiative and does it. This benefits those around him, as Oliver does not leave them to do all the work.
One Weakness: Oliver is an extremely curious person, and although this has benefitted him countless times in the past, it also tends to get him in trouble. He often puts rational thought aside in order to satisfy his curiosity. This benefits others in that, under potentially dangerous circumstances, Oliver would be the first to test the situation. The down side to this is that any unwanted results of his curiosity often affect others around him.
Appearance: Oliver has a shaved head. He appears in the room wearing a faded brown leather jacket over a dark green hoodie over a black t-shirt. He wears dull green cargo pants and brown boots. He also wears a pair of black, wool gloves with the fingers cut off, and black welder’s goggles pushed back on his forehead. Oliver is a generally attractive man, but due to his usual living arrangements, he is not always in the best hygienic condition. He does, however, have a generally happy disposition.
Personality: Though Oliver was somewhat of a loner as a child, he is now very friendly and always willing to help a friend. His curiosity leads him to try and discover new things, be they new friends or just new experiences. Due to the vast amount of reading that he has done and continues to do, Oliver has an extensive vocabulary and is quite articulate for a homeless man. He can be very talkative when he has someone to converse with, but when he is concentrating particularly hard on something, he barely talks at all. If something needs to be done, and nobody else is bothering to do it, Oliver will not hesitate to take charge. However, if someone else is handling the situation and leading the group adequately, he has no problem with letting them do their thing.
Background: Oliver Huxley was born to English parents in Metropolis City, Japan. He didn’t live a particularly privileged life, but his family managed to get by. Unfortunately, when Oliver was 10, his mother died of lung cancer. His father, stricken with grief over his wife’s passing, committed suicide within the month. As Oliver had no other family in the country, and nobody back home could afford to fly him back to London, he took up residence in an orphanage. Severely depressed following his parents’ deaths, Oliver made little effort to befriend the other children, preferring to be alone. At the request of the orphanage head, he stayed in school, but remained alienated from his classmates, and eventually dropped out before he started high school. It was around this time that Oliver discovered the peace and quiet of the orphanage’s library, which was barely used by the others. Over the next 4 years Oliver managed to read every single book in the library, educating himself on a variety of subjects. His favorite books, however, were those concerning machines, especially automobiles. Wanting to do more than just read about them, Oliver would occasionally go out and look for a nice car, hotwire it, and take it for a little drive. He always returned the cars, though, and didn’t think of himself as a criminal. He was arrested once, when he got pulled over for speeding and it was discovered that the car wasn’t his. He was put in a holding cell, but the guard fell asleep, and Oliver was able to pick the lock and escape. He took the car back to where he had gotten it, came back to the station, and locked himself back in. Due to a lack of evidence (namely, the car), he was released. Once he turned 18, Oliver decided to leave the orphanage and live on his own. However, he had difficulty finding a steady job without even a high school diploma to his name. His love of cars led him to seek work as a mechanic, and he began working off and on for several auto shops. Finally having found something he loved opened Oliver up, and he began making friends with his coworkers, the drivers whose cars he fixed, and even complete strangers. Since he is not paid very much, he is unable to afford lodging, and spends his nights either in homeless shelters or on the streets. Having gotten to know many of the vagabonds in the area, Oliver started volunteering in the shelters. If there’s ever an open bed, he’ll sleep in one of the shelters, but he’d sooner sleep on the streets than force someone else to do the same. Oliver has never killed anyone, nor has he witnessed a death, but he sure as hell has had to learn to deal with death. Years of manual labor and carrying around heavy car parts has kept Oliver in above-average physical fitness. He’s no bodybuilder, but he’s quite a muscular man. Oliver’s read many books on various martial arts, but has never had any real experience fighting. He has also read much about firearms, but has no experience with them. Although Oliver does not and never has owned a car, he’s driven as much as possible throughout his life, and is as good a driver as anyone else, if not better.
Cause of Death: Oliver was told by a friend about a job at his son’s elementary school, which Oliver gladly accepted. The job was to inspect and make any repairs to the school’s boiler, which had been making strange noises lately. Oliver made his way into the basement of the school and towards the boiler room. The door to the room was in poor condition, and was only held shut by a bent lead pipe. Oliver removed the pipe and went inside. Upon inspecting the boiler, Oliver realized that the only thing to do was run. He was half way through diving back out of the room when he was engulfed in flames.
