Stay Active. Your character may die due to inactivity. Mods will post once a day at a regular time. If you know you will be inactive, give permission for someone or the mod to control your character and give the mod a notice. If a character goes inactive for extended period of time (which is decided by the mod) without a notice, the mod may do as he/she sees fit with the character. Most of the times this means a very embarrassing death or placement in the Inactive Gantzer section.
Characters
1. Create a character according to the character template in the Character Creation board. Multiple characters are allowed, but only one will be accepted for each individual role-play!
2. If your character is approved it will be moved to the Approved sub-board. There you will await to be transferred to a role-play.
3. After your character is approved you may post in Life outside of Gantz located in the Creative Writing board. After a role-play is finished the amount of characters needed for the new mission will be transferred for the next mission. The character awaiting transfer for the longest period will be chosen first. You will get a notice after your character is transferred and will have a role call in the role-play OOC that your character was transferred to.
4. If your character survives a mission, your character may be role-played in Life Outside of Gantz until once again called for another Gantz mission.
5. If your character dies during a mission, you may create a new character and repeat the same process in that same role-play.
6. If your character dies during a mission, your character will be placed in Gantz's memory and is subject to revival. If revived, you may continue to play that character. If the original owner of a revived character is no longer active you may be role-play his/her character.
Posts[/u]
1. All In Character posts must be in 3rd person.
2. Keep Out Of Character posts in the mission at a minimum. They have their own place in the OOC for their respective project.
3. Make actions realistic in Gantz Mechanics. You can do amazing things that are unrealistic, but with a gantz suit you are not god. See Gantz Mechanics for more info.
4. God-modding is not allowed, meaning you are only allowed to post your own actions and not of other players, NPC’s or aliens. You post your intention and the mod decides the outcome. Wrong example:’’Kurono points the X-Gun at the alien’s head and blows his head out.’’ Good example:’’Kurono points the X-Gun at the alien’s head and fires.’’
5. Be descriptive as possible. Describe setting, sense of direction, detailed action, thoughts. Even something as small as a blink can have an effect. Don't take this too far, however.
6. There is a spell check, use it! Make sure your post is readable and understandable. It makes things hard for the mod to actually figure out what is going on if you don't spell it right.
Role-Play in Detail
Gantz
1. You always start in the Gantz apartment.
2. You may post your move before or after any character. There is no particular order.
3. Continue to only post one move between mod posts. Dialogue and unimportant actions may have multiple posts (mainly in the room).
4. The mod will post an update of successful and failed moves everyday. This time may vary.
5. If the mod posts before you post, your character will have not done anything at all. The post will be for the next turn.
6. Once a mission is over, there will be point allocation. The total can always be found in the Gantz Memory(if certain Mods update them)
Life Outside of Gantz
1. You may make as many threads as you want about your life outside of Gantz after missions.
2. Characters awaiting transfer may roleplay here too (they can only be pre-death posts). It isn’t a requirement to post here but highly recommended as it builds character history.
